There was a long list of faults with the room including a badly leaking kettle, wobbly toilet seat, milk pots gone off, only 1 bath towel for 2 people. Request for extra toilet paper not carried out. Room was not clean, there was dust & dirt on the skirting board & under the bed. The replacement kettle & extra towel was left in reception & not put into the room. Was not even acknowledged by the receptionist when we handed in our keys, we appreciate she was on the phone but she did not acknowledge that we were there.

Shocking service from the restaurant staff. Place was closed for a refurbished but said it was open to guests for breakfast, dinner & drinks. When we arrived we went for a drink to be told it doesn't open till 6pm, this was fine so went to enjoy the carnival then returned to the restaurant at 9pm for something to eat. It said on the door open till 9:45pm so we had 45 minutes left of service. It wasn't busy only a few people in there. As we walked in the 3 staff members called time?? We asked if they were serving food, no we don't do food only drinks, thought this bit strange so just ordered drinks then went to sit down and Google somewhere else to eat. They called time again 20 minutes later, the few people in there started to leave which left me & my partner in there. The next minute one of the staff members came over and asked if we wanted our drinks?? They were still full?? They were rushing us out the door so they could go home, not only were they not providing the service they were meant too for guests but were very unwelcoming and rude. We ended up leaving the drinks and having to drive to mcdonalds to get something to eat, so I will not be staying at this premier in again!!

Stayed overnight to break a journey up following a flight. Room was clean and tidy; and reception staff were welcoming. Only issue in the room was the toilet seat was broken and fell off; but other than that no other issues with the room itself. We regularly stay in premier inns and like the fact you can have breakfast for a reasonable price and kids eat free. Understand this hotel is going through renovation with the restaurant however it's still advertised as open as normal for hotel guests and breakfast is served. Advertised serving breakfast until 1030hrs; we arrived at 0945hrs. There was hardly any hot food left on the hot plates; and the continental breakfast was empty (apart from 1 croissant and a couple crumpets). The staff member didn't tell us anything when arrived; and was happy to put through our payment for food. When we noticed there was no food out; asked him whether he could organise some more continental food so we could have food to eat; refused to make any more continental food as "it takes 20 minutes and I shut in 25 minutes; so don't want to waste stock". The fact there was 5 of us and he was still happy to charge us; with no food out to eat; he was very rude and then began to get 'confused' when we said we would leave and get something elsewhere. Not impressed! Have a renovation of the staff too aswell I think!

Stayed overnight with cooked breakfast on 26th October 2024. Sadly, the building and interior is in need of redecoration. Our bathroom definitely needed work and had a shower curtain around the shower. Breakfast was very poor, the staff waited to be told when the individual trays were empty, consequently the food you had on your plate went cold. Surely, someone should have been monitoring this. The eating area was full of food on the floor. One member of staff brought in a massive bowl to collect the empty plates, which was disgusting to see.

Conveniently located hotel with amenities nearby. We stayed to break a journey up from Cornwall and visit Glastonbury. Room was clean and tidy. Few black marks on silicone around bath which would come off with some cleaning. Biggest criticism is how hot the room was. We was on the ground floor so having the window open wasn’t ideal with traffic noise. I opened the window around 3am and left the shutter up slightly , the room had a fan but it had a 2 hour timer in the fan. So every 2 hours I was restarting the fan! Very broken nights sleep. Free parking and check in easy. Heat in the bedroom was just too much.

Booked for two nights but left after one because of my basic room and awful sleep. There was a strange humming all night in the room that kept me awake. I barely slept. The rooms are basic and the beds don’t appear to be as comfortable as a standard Premier Inn bed. Because of this I made the decision to leave and drive a five hour round-trip home to work the next day. The staff that I didn’t counter were ok, but I won’t be staying at this Premier Inn in the future and would not recommend it for anyone travelling for whatever reason.

The hotel is a maize of corridors with very poor signage to the rooms on the second floor. There are no lifts and lots of stairs. We were placed in room 203 which was a long hike with heavy cases and we are no spring chickens! The staff weren't bothered about it either! Breakfast was poor, it looked like the chef had given up! No beans, got told by the waiter that the chef had forgotten to order them and the fried eggs were very undercooked /raw. The only positive experience was dinner the evening before was lovely and the 2 breakfast waiters were very pleasant and worked hard to keep everything clean and tidy. However, we definitely won't be staying at this Premier Inn again.
