We arrived and parked up, we entered and asked if we had parked in the right space. The girl replied ‘I don’t have a f*****g clue, I haven’t worked here long’. We went up to our room and found- The bedding chucked back over as if it hadn’t been changed Chunks of cheese around the bed A large number of black flakes all down one side of the bed on the carpet Crumbs on the bed side table Empty wrapper on the bedside table Bits around the bin on the floor Dirty tray with coffee on the coffee machine Tea stained breakfast order forms and no pen Dirt in the shower tray and down the side Poo in the toilet Wee and a suspect hair all over the toilet seat We literally felt sick. We went back downstairs and the girl text the landlady but could not move us room as they were fully booked. She asked us to go out and she would get a cleaner in while we weren’t there. Hours passed and no phone call to let us know. So I phoned, the room was cleaned. On arrival back to the hotel, the landlady never even came to apologise, never checked everything was ok. The bar maid made some comment insinuating that we were fussy. We went back up and it had been cleaned but still not to the standard that a hotel should offer. Also see attached the photo of the blind taken on the second return to the room. Sums up the lack of cleanliness and how often it happens. I’ve never stayed anywhere so filthy and with such a huge lack of customer service.
