One of the loveliest hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and I travel a lot! The bed was one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in, and cured my insomnia which I have been battling with. The staff are so friendly, and literally bend over backwards to help you. Such a clean and comfy hotel, with outstanding staff. Literally have nothing bad to say about it.

Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Anything requested was attended to. The rooms were large compared to other European hotels, seperate bathroom and separate toilet. The hotel is situated centrally in Briancon and close to restaurants.

Wonderful experience at Hotel Vauban. We stayed for a week to ski, on arrival at 11am we were delighted to be able to check in after a 3am start. During the week all the staff were so nice to us. The reception were excellent and spoke excellent English. Rooms were comfortable plenty hot water and comfortable beds. Great to recommend and book Resturaunts for us. 5 minutes to ski lifts. Would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you very much to everyone at Hotel Vauban.

Just returned from a ski week staying at this hotel with my husband and daughter. We had 2 very comfortable rooms with lovely views and a great bathroom with a fab shower with plentiful hot water. The hotel experience was excellent. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, recommending and booking restaurants for dinner and advising about ski equipment and lifts. The closest lift was a short 5 minute walk away. There were many restaurants within 5 minutes walk away and many more up in the medieval city which is a 20 minute walk or 5 mins by (frequent) bus or taxi, and definitely worth a visit.

Perfecte locatie, net achter het gezelligste plein. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Hele mooie kamer met badkamer. Alles fris en schoon. Goed ontbijt. De eigenaar heeft een restaurant achter het hotel, gezellig aan het plein. Becançon zelf is ook heel leuk. Ik zoek een aanleiding om terug te komen. Absoluut een topper!

Après un trajet rallongé par les impondérables des chantiers de montagne, nous sommes arrivés, enfin…,à l’hôtel et reçus avec un accueil…personnalisé…, de la part de l’équipe. Chambre impeccable, literie confortable, petit-déjeuner excellent, c’était très bien. Et…suite à un « désagrément » survenu au delà de la frontière…Sylvain et Dylan nous ont proposé une aide logistique qui nous a considérablement aidés et réconfortés.

Excellent hôtel ! Chambre agréable, literie confortable, sanitaires et salle de bain irréprochables, soin évident apporté à chaque détail : un établissement véritablement “au top” ! Surtout : une très grande mention spéciale à Sylvain et Dylan pour toute l’aide apportée suite à des ennuis rencontrés avec notre véhicule. Dans cet établissement le personnel est constamment à l’écoute de la clientèle et cela est suffisamment rare pour être mis fortement en évidence. En résumé un séjour plaisant et réussi.

Propre, moderne, très bien équipé et des petits déjeuner très copieux... Et, le personnel, comme les patrons sont sympathiques, disponibles et à l'écoute. Parking sécurisé, y compris avec un chargeur électrique. Excellent rapport qualité prix.
