Captain Freeman Inn

I have stayed in many B&B’s throughout New England and my 4 night experience at the Captain Freeman Inn is superior to all. Innkeepers Laurie and Jason are warm and attentive to every detail to ensure their guest’s comfort. The home is impeccably decorated with a blend of modern and farmhouse style furnishings. I personally have a distaste for old homes with Victorian style decor and this home is refreshing with a soothing palette of colors and tastefully placed pops of fun art and decor. There is a nice selection of affordable curated gifts in the parlor room. Perfect for those of us who love to shop on vacation. Bedrooms have high quality Pima cotton sateen bed linens, Turkish towels, newer walk-in floor to ceiling tiled showers with glass doors, vanities with marble tops. Breakfast was 5 star every day - 3 courses served at your table. Food allergies noted. A heated salt water pool is the perfect complement to the gorgeous flat beaches nearby and also a gas fire pit is on the pool patio. The screened porch is another oasis where my husband and I played cards and games. The photos online are accurate but in person I was truly impressed. We already booked our stay for next year. Can’t wait to go back!

From the moment you walk in the door, it’s welcoming, comfort, inviting. The owners Jason and Laurie are so accommodating and friendly, they have suggestions of things to do in the area and places to eat or hang out. The rooms are beautiful, the three course breakfast is five star, the heated salted swimming pool with fire pit is amazing. Highly recommend.

Just back from another phenomenal and restorative stay at the Captain Freeman Inn. Laurie and Jason are so warm and welcoming and we felt pampered at every moment. Breakfast is always three dishes of delectables (Thank you again, Queen of My Appetite!); the rooms are cozy and clean and quiet; and the pool is heated and ready with big towels and a fire pit that makes you forget the chilly weather. The Inn's gift shop had great new items and the afternoon snacks never disappoint. We head back in the Spring for more of their unparalleled hospitality! Thank you again Laurie and Jason! PS: the fresh-cut flower bar is the latest detail that made our stay exceptional!

This lovely inn is heavenly! The owners are so kind and truly care about their guests. From the moment you arrive you will be in a serene and peaceful setting and in a state of bliss. This upscale inn offers a beautiful salt water pool. While working on your tan you will hear the birds singing and a quick ring of the church bell on occasion which we absolutely loved. The 3 course gourmet breakfast will keep you full and a great start to the day! When you return from the beach you will come home to the smells of a baked treats in the oven. They have a display of treats waiting for you every afternoon along with chilled fruit infused water. The inn is centrally located and many restaurants are walkable. Check out breakwater beach at low tide. We saw horse shoe crabs and loved the pink sunsets. This upscale inn is immaculate and we can’t wait to return. They are booked out and we needed to book in advance. We loved our Orleans room located on the first floor. We ended our days with an ice cream cone and sat on their rockers on the porch. The ice cream shop is next door along with the iconic Brewster General store. Thank you to the owners for making us feel so special! They even surprised me with chocolate covered strawberries for my birthday! This is truly the best Inn on Cape Cod and we will be back soon! This place is a gem! ❤️

This Inn really is perfection! The innkeepers could not be nicer or more accommodating , the breakfasts are so delicious and the Inn itself is sparkling clean and beautifully decorated. There is not a single thing could be commented on to make it better because The Captain Freeman Inn is just perfect in every way. We are repeat vacationers there and will definitely return.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at this beautiful historic inn, and we could not have been more pleased with our decision to stay there. Jason and Laurie are kind, have great recommendations, and truly care about making your time there as outstanding as possible. The room was incredibly clean, the bed almost too comfortable! Breakfast each morning was delicious, the perfect way to start our day. Having the heated pool available was great for a cooler May day. The afternoon tea and pastries were such a nice touch! Awesome central location. Easiest parking. Could not have asked for a more wonderful experience. Will be back if ever on the Cape again!
