Check in went fine. Staff are nice people. Room was clean. Room only had 3 pillows. My wife and I like to have 2 for each of us since they are small pillows. Tried to get a 4th pillow but I was told there were no extras available in entire motel. I got ready to make coffee and was unable to find the coffeepot but I had coffee pods for use. Everything else was there in the kitchen. Went to front desk and inquired about getting one. Same story as I got with the pillow. The clerk did tell me I could come down to the lobby and use the coffee machine there whenever I wanted coffee. Room has seen a lot of usage. Peeling paint on ceiling over the tub. Lots of patches on the wall. Lipstick stain on one of the pillowcases. We stayed at 3 different Choice properties in 3 states during a 6 day period. This was the most expensive one and we liked it the least. I don’t see us going back.

This is a 2 star hotel. So you get what you pay for. Pros: bed was super comfy! Bathroom was clean, linens were clean. Fridge was great and spacious. Love the set up of the room. Air worked great! Ample closet space, and clean dresser. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating ! Cons: odor of stale old ‘something’ was hardly manageable until I went to the Publix (close by) and got a glade plug in. And it fixed it immediately. Electrical outlet covers were missing, so not sure that is ‘to code.’ The baseboard is falling off. Cabinets are very old and sticky. If management would clean the place better, just all around, and fix a few things, it would a decent hidden place to stay. But as it stands it’s a cheap old place. But it worked enough for us.

Great safe location in Brentwood and comfortable bed gives it two stars. The room was disgusting, worn, and what few dishes available were in the cabinet were dirty. No shampoo, tvs are old school limited cable only. Couch was dirty. Needed to cover to sit on it.

The first room had a hole in the counter where the cook top should have been. The second room was disgusting. Furniture old, worn and dirty. Most of the dishes, cookware and utensils were missing. The rest were dirty. TV was limited cable channels. Bedroom drapes were thumb-tacked to the wall. The room had obviously been a long-term stay room that should have been taken out of inventory for deep cleaning, maintenance and restocking.

I called Mainstay Suites Brentwood because I was very dissatisfied with the motel I had been at for the previous nights on this trip. I got hold of the front desk and spoke with Lauren Bacall, and OMG, number one what a very friendly and personable lady she was. She answered all my questions and concerns with the least of hesitancy. Lauren went above and beyond with accommodating myself and my needs. As a matter of fact I have already booked a room here for my next stay here in the Nashville area.

Everyone there was very friendly. I checked in late because of a flight delay and the front desk manager was understanding and got me checked in quickly. I wish I would have gotten her name. I had to check out early and Lauren was very accommodating and got me checked out quickly.

The customer service at this hotel is something you only hear about from bygone eras. I called and spoke to Lauren Bacall, her actual movie star name, and was treated with the most exceptional customer service I have experienced in years. I travel and stay at hotels a lot and since the pandemic (such a cliche) the hotel industry has truly suffered much like many hospitality industries in staffing and general professional training. I was thrilled to encounter Ms. Bacall who encompassed all of the traits top tier corporations seek in hospitality management. Good on ya’ Mainstay Suites!
