Brenton Breakers

Me and a friend stayed here for 3 nights and wish we could've stayed longer!! Everything was just PERFECT, from a very informative check in to the day we checked out. We stayed during the Knysna Oyster Festival. The location was spot on as it was away from the hustle-and-bustle, but also not too far, everything within driving distance. The chalets are huge and has the most amazing view! The best part was the morning coffee on your own private patio. Thank you so much Brenton Breakers for making our stay memorable. We will most certainly be back! I think in the Summer months this place will be even more remarkable, super excited!!

We had 5 perfect days at Brenton Breakers. The property has everything you need for having a good time there. The view ist awsome and the daily service as well. The managing lady is an angel, thanks again! Near to the breathtaking Brenton Beach and to a very good restaurant (Butterfly Blu). By car you reach Knysna Central in not even 20 minutes. We will be back again.

Had 10 days at Brenton Breakers, lovely chalet type home with a beautiful lawn area overlooking the stunning ocean with the sound of the crashing waves to watch sunset and some lovely walks. Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing, very safe location. Short walk or drive to the beach and Butterfly Blu restaurant and Indigo for sundowners and centrally located short drive to Knysna, Buffalo Bay and Sedgefield.

Stunning view from the apartment on the ocean, you miss this place even while you're stay there. It's a quiet place to stay in, for relaxing and basking view of the ocean, making braai. It's well equipped, have all needed except washing machine. It's located a bit far from the center of Knysna on the rock and downstairs to the beach. Have common yard for braai (bbq). It's a guarded 24/7, apartments has own alarm system, so it's really safe. Stayed for the two nights. -- a bit minuses -- There was hairs on a bed linen and in shower, a bit dusty on floor and furniture.

Perhaps we were just lucky that in our search for a hotel we chose this one. Stunning ocean and sunset views. Everything else, of course, was also at a very good level. Although the town somehow generally left the impression of being very quiet, calm, beautiful and compact - everything is nearby, within walking distance. But still, the main advantage of this hotel over almost all others is the ocean view. He's gorgeous. Plus, there is a kind of personal beach, although the descent to it is not easy - a very steep staircase, the last meters on the steps of stones. That is, all hotels can install barbecue equipment or a refrigerator, but few hotels can make themselves a personal beach with a gorgeous view. And - good room layout, cleanliness, complete set of necessary equipment, including a personal barbecue area. All this is there and all this is at a decent level. Security - security, if necessary, works clearly (we forgot to turn off the alarm once, security appeared in a minute).

The view is just incredible... Couldn't stop staring at the sea for hours until sunset, it was magical! The house is located in a very safe area, easy to find and a lot of space for parking and outdoor options like barbecue and dinner al fresco. Spacious 2 bedroom with in-suite and good size kitchen, ideal for families. The communication with the host was very good, all details needed to enter the property were available in advance. The folders available in the house with info about the area (activities, restaurants, etc) and the house itself was great too, nice touch from the hosts. My only suggestion, as the country suffers scheduled power cuts on daily basis, would be install generators/solar panels to ensure electricity is always available. But the power cut didn't affect our stay, it was quite an experience :) Amazing place, super worth the drive. Highly recommed and hope to be back soon.
