The Ibis Budget hotel is in a great location right opposite the Hauptbahnhof (main train station for the city). If you’re looking to go to the Bremer Freimarkt in October, it’s right behind the Hauptbahnhof so you couldn’t find a better place. The Altstadt (old town) isn’t far away either, and you can get buses, trams or taxis right outside. This isn’t a hotel for peace and quiet - there is lots going on around it and it was fairly noisy inside and out with all the hustle and bustle of city life. We booked online and I was able to check in prior to arrival which was helpful - on arrival we just picked up keys and signed the forms, and the bill was sent later by email. The room is as you’d expect - very basic but clean and tidy. Everything worked and it all looked fresh. The beds were fairly comfortable and the shower was good. Unfortunately our air conditioning didn’t seem to work properly - there seemed to be no cooling function. As a consequence the room got really hot and stuffy overnight. We couldn’t really open the door because the city outside was noisy. The other serious issue we had was returning to our room after a day out to find it had been left unlocked by the cleaners. Luckily nothing had been taken, but I was not happy. The price was reasonable and the 12pm checkout is later than many hotels. We just had to drop our keys in a box in the lobby. In summary - this hotel’s best asset is its location. If you want to be in the middle of things:l, this place is for you.

The Courtyard is located next to Bremen Hbf railway station. The comfortable hotel was built in 2010 and offers 155 rooms and 3 suites over 5 floors. Part of the hotel is the restored Lloyd building from 1913 with artifacts of the North German Lloyd and Bremen's maritime past. Staffs are friendly and correct. Our room was nicely decorated and furnished, with a very good double-bed. The room had desk & chair, fridge, TV, wardrobe with iron & ironing board, safe, airco, club-chair & table, and coffee & tea making facility. We had a separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower. Free Wi-Fi Internet. Windows can be opened. All was clean. An adequate buffet breakfast is served with a good variety: scrambled eggs & bacon, boiled eggs, sausages, cold cuts, ham & cheeses, bread & toast, rolls & croissants, cereals, fruit juice, milk & yoghurts, preserves, tea & coffee. When you like to stay in an adequate town hotel, Courtyard Bremen is the place for you.

Our hotel is steeped in tradition and provides a warm welcome to the Hanseatic city of Bremen. The hotel is located across from the main railway station, 500 meters from the fair- and congress center and it is only a short stroll away from the attractive city center. The hotel has free internet access (WLAN), a bar, 3 conference rooms, and a luggage room. The two elevators quickly transport guests between floors. Guests can avail themselves of services such as shoe polish, wake-up calls, and laundry service. The train station is opposite. The train station has a 6-way tram that goes directly to the airport. Because it is only a transit to the airport, the traffic is very convenient. Breakfast is too late to eat, not good.

The hotel was easy to find and the parking garage is directly under the hotel (elevator access to the lobby). Our room was ready, even though it was 3 hours before check-in, with no extra fee for early check-in! The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were pretty flat, we did get extra pillows from the front desk, which helped! Big room, with 2 TV's and nice shower! Water temperature was good and the full kitchen was nice! Our 6th floor room was pretty quiet, except when we had the window open - then we could hear the street noise. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we look forward to staying at an Adagio in the future!

Moin! We were here from 27. to 29.03.23 to meet the beautiful Hansestadt Bremen. To explore the city of Bremen quickly and without complications, the B&B Hotel is excellent. At Motel One Hotels you know what one expects: not too much, but also not too little. I was in the framework of a service trip at Motel one Bremen. Friendly check in and nice staff. Breakfast with good quality and selection. Personal in both nights a little muu at the bar, unfortunately not a pill from the box, but only from the bottle. Rooms very clean in the usual standard. Hotel very well reachable with train right in front of the door and a cat jump to Weser/Battle.

The laundry cost 5 euros, which is fine but I was disappointed that when I was told I could get the laundry at five pm, when I arrive at the laundry room it wasn’t ready.
The location is about five minutes walk from the central train station.
If you arrive very late at night, I recommend staying highly vigilant.
Better have company if you really need to go out at night.
The staff is very friendly.
But there’s a sign in from of the hotel that says don’t bring any firearms or knife there. Wonder what happened before the sign was erected.
The room that was assigned to me didn’t face a highway, and I was able to use the microwave and the fridge in the hotel
It’s about 5 minutes walk to the museum and about 15-20 mins walk to downtown center. A very good location for business people.

Nice hotel, breakfast, quiet, clean and tidy rooms. The design of the hotel is good. There is a big TV on the first floor and there is also a bar to have a drink. One thing that is not very satisfactory is that there is no kettle in the room.

Was up in NY for graduation ceremony with our family and had the double suite with a separate living room and kitchenette. Very helpful and pleasant staff, excellent neighborhood with lots of great restaurants. And washer /dryer available is a big plus

This is a hotel build 1955 with a lot of soul !! Yes its seen its been used for many years but the soul and the service and dedication Staff Way compensate for this ! At the front of the Hotel there is s outdoor 35 degree heated pool with a Great (No Clothes) Wellness and Sauna area 4 x Saunas and Steam .. The breakfast was very good Also served by dedicated friendly Staff.. The Gym doesnt come much better at a hotel and i visited a Lot the last 20 years.. TechnoGym new with the most magnificent view and great Cardio gear also Technogym🙏🏼 The park is right outside u feel like far away from a city turn 180 degrees after hours of walking in the park and you walk straight into Bremen.. My advise don’t expect some newly renovated hotel but a house with soul lot of memories and warm and relax in the pool and park 🙏🏼

TTravellingWizardI loved my time at Best Western!! I stayed here for 8 days with my wife and son and we found the apartment large and comfortable. The location is ideal and is just a few hundred metres away from Hauptbahnoff, the main train station and there are plenty of eateries and restaurants around. There is a large REWE supermarket across the main road but beware that it's closed on Sundays. From the airport, it's a 20 minutes taxi ride to this place and will cost 20 euros. Breakfast was included in my package at an extra cost but the spread was disappointing and the menu was the same everyday. As it was Christmas time, the hotel was packed with travellers and it was also difficult finding a table in the mornings. But the staff were very friendly and warm. Bremen also has one of the best Christmas markets in Germany and its about 4 tram stops away from Best Western. But it's also easily walkable and it takes about 10 minutes.

The bar was great, the food was great, staff and amenities was great. Any time I'm in Germany I'll be staying at this hotel.

GGuest UserThe receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and well maintained. We have the penthouse with our three children and have room to spare. We didn't realize there was a full kitchen available, otherwise we would've brought food to cook for ourselves 😅 The room(s) are stylish and spacey. Great for longer stays than just a weekend. Breakfast is very nice as well, lots of choices. Especially if you're a fan of cheese. Good coffee! ☺️

GGuest UserI wrote a long review of this hotel and when it came to uploading photos, it was gone. 😪 Anyway, this hotel is superb for tourists especially first timers in Bremen cos it is walking distance from the airport and tram stop. We did not need a taxi to and from the airport cos we had only one 20 kg luggage. They have two nicely working lift. It is so clean and staff are very friendly. It seems a new hotel cos the carpetings are really clean. The room is just right for the three of us. There is both a microwave and a fridge which we very rarely find in UK hotels or none at all. They mostly served cold breakfast and only egg for cooked breakfast. It did not matter to me cos I eat light for breakfast but it mattered to my husband who eats heavy breakfast. There is a McDonald’s near the airport which I guess is open either til after midnight or 24 hours. We saw a restaurant across the street but we have not tried it. There is also an eat all you can restaurant near the airport but it looks like under refurbishment. See my photos of the room to see for yourself.

GGuest UserThe postives: room size, terrace, quality bedding, quite varied breakfast, possible late breakfast and check-out, friendly staff, TV, free bottle of water. The negatives: · The room was 32 degrees hot when we arrived shortly after noon. There was no air conditioning. With the windows open, it only cooled down to 27.50 degrees in the evening. Have to leave windows open all night and fan on to get some sleep. In the morning we noticed that the tap of the sink was loose and skewed, the cap of the sink drain was also closed and could not be opened, so the water couldn't ran away. The make-up mirror also hung half loose. There was a lot of ****s on the terrace on the fifth floor. After reporting this to the reception and we were offered a larger room at the front of the hotel (their suite) because they couldn't fix the tap. It was slightly less warm due to its location, but still fairly warm to be able to sleep in. Also no air conditioning here, but only a fan. Of the six windows, three of the curtains at the top were broken, so the light comes in very early, already at 5:30 am, which means that you can no longer sleep well. Because this room was at the front, sleeping with the windows open was not an option due to the heavy traffic (cars, trams, emergency services). For 125 euros per night we found this a disappointment. Maintenance and inspection in general could be better, e.g. a broken coat rack, throw it away, a broken tap, replace it, broken curtains, replace them, etc...

GGuest UserStayed at this Hotel for 3 nights 9th till 12th November and had a very pleasant trip. I have used this Hotel many times over many years and the booking has always been excellent. At the risk of repeating myself... the room and bathroom are a great size and very clean. During covid, the rooms are not cleaned daily unless you request it. The breakfast has many hot and cold choices, and is usually included in the price as is the free travel ticket. Town and transport links are very close to the Hotel as is the railway station next to the premises. I write this review to make a special mention of the Hotel Manager Oliver Steding. I had a problem completing my u.k. locator form in that I could not make the link on my smartphone or indeed the government website, although the wifi signal was very good. He sat with me with his laptop and managed to complete the form and supplied me with a printout. A service above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you for a gret stay.

GGuest UserWe had to check in at 15:00, 2 rooms booked, everything was payed in advance. Arriving by 15:00 they tell us that one room is ready and the other will take 30 minutes, so I went up 30 mins later and had to wait another 20 minutes, just because the supervisor saw me waiting in the hall,otherwise it would have taken longer. At the reception they just said sorry and they couldn't even explain because the english level was not to keep a conversation, only one lady could speak English well, but she couldn't be there during all my stay, ofc. We stayed 3 days for business, and because they didnt give me the room at the time I lost one meeting. Also, 2 days after the stay they came to clean the room and took one cigarette from my pack that was on the table, not difficult to remember when I had 3 left and after arriving to the room I had 2 left. The curtains had some old spots like from the last century. The rooms are super small, feels like in a cave, but ok, I'm not a princess. The cleaning is ok, I asked for one more towel because they provide 2, and never got it. The breakfast buffet is 15€ but very few options, so I recommend to cross the street and have an amazing breakfast in the bakery for 15€ per 2.

Il personale è molto gentile, le norme igieniche rispettate. La nostra camera, così come il bagno, era piuttosto piccola, ma funzionale, pulita ed originale. Perfetta per un breve soggiorno. Io lo consiglio molto.

GGuest UserWe arrived late in the day. We carried our luggage to the elevator only going up to the second floor. We were placed on the third floor so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs and through the halls and door with a raised floor we had to lift our luggage. No air conditioning so we had the windows open. Right between 7 and 8 am began all the outside city noises. The breakfast was delicious but it does cost 10 euros a person. The receptionist could speak English and was very helpful even taking my friends baby food bag and refrigerating it overnight.

Breakfast was good, the man who served was friendly. A bit difficult to find the location directly from Bremen Hauptbanhof, need google map to guide.
