Made so welcome by the owners Kathy & Dave. Rooms excellent, lovely bedding & facilities. Breakfasts were scrumptious, home-cooked. Kathy & Dave were the perfect hosts, they went the extra mile. We are definitely going again, and I will recommend to my friends. Such a good time, I thank them both.

Exceeded all expectations! It was just lovely from the moment we arrived to our departure. Kathleen and David were fabulous hosts. The house was exceptionally clean and tidy and well organised. The garden was a beautiful place to sit and admire all of the hard work that’s been put into it. Off street free parking was a real bonus. Perfect location. The most amazing breakfasts! Thanks again Kathleen and David. Your knowledge and recommendations of places to eat/visit were so helpful. 100% will be recommending you to our friends and family!

I, husband and son decided to put up a night at Brecon town after our hike up Pen Y Fan on 2 December, 2024. The owners (David and Kathleen) outdid themselves by their warm hospitality. Loved every bit of the family room (#7 coincidentally named Pen Y Fan). The room was rustic, had all the facilities, overlooking a pretty poster-like sight of sheep grazing a hillside. It was such a bliss! We had a hearty breakfast the next morning while engaging in small talk with the cheerful/witty David. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. We will definitely return with our daughter soon as our heart is very close to Brecon town and this special guesthouse.

We had a lovely stay at The Grange Guesthouse! I came with my husband and had friends staying here too for a wedding. David was a lovely host- kind, personable and helpful. The B&B was clean and spacious. The breakfast was also lovely! Thanks for a great stay.

From the booking to checkout, everything was seamless. Kathleen and David were wonderful hosts, friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in had everything we needed for a two night stay and was exceptionally clean. The beds were comfy and the decor was beautifully done. The toiletries were lovely too. Our son was ready to give a ten star review after the first night and a delicious breakfast, high praise indeed! Nothing was too much trouble and we left with full tummies both mornings. If you’re looking for a great place to stay whilst visiting Brecon, we would highly recommend staying here. Also free parking which was a bonus as on street parking would have been tricky. By the way, could you tell me where you got the lovely cushions on the bed please

I cannot praise this bed and breakfast establishment enough. David and Kathleen are excellent hosts and have every right to be exceptionally proud of the guesthouse they run. It’s very clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. There is plenty of parking space behind the property which leads to a delightful garden where guests are invited to sit. I was even able to charge my EV overnight for no additional charge. Our room ( number 5) was large and well equipped with a spotless large bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, especially the local sausages and the fresh fruit and yogurt. David advised us on local restaurants and pubs and when we said we were going to Hay on Wye he told us where to park and gave us a guide to the bookshops there. I would certainly stay there again in a heartbeat.

Received a warm welcome from David and Kathleen. The Grange is beautifully decorated. Our bedroom was lovely, mattress very comfortable. Roomy en-suite. Varied times for the enjoyable breakfast, which we could have had in our room. David is an interesting host.
