Hotel Alpenrock Breckenridge, Curio Collection by Hilton

We stayed here last Christmas for skiing at Breckenridge. This hotel is not a ski-in/ski-out hotel, but the hotel is very close to a lift at Breckenridge (around 3-5 minutes walk). The hotel also had grab and go breackfast and a Starbucks, which is very convenient during the COVID times. Would come back in the future for skiing trips!

Location can’t be beat! Beautiful newly refurbished hotel, staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The ski/ board valet at the hotel is the best amenity! Nothing better than having your equipment stored and delivered to you in a spacious changing room with plenty of space to get your warm and dried boots on and have your shoes securely stored until you return and the end of the day. The hotel is only a minute walk across the street through the Breckenridge parking lot to ski 500 feet down to the quick silver super chair. The walk to downtown is 5-6 mins on the sidewalks but they also have a free shuttle. Parking is valet only , $55 a night but the staff is great, super friendly and vehicles are stored in garage it’s nice to have a warm car ready anytime you want. We ate dinner at the Bar and breakfast at the Restaurant and the food and service was great. They have live music after skiing in the lobby. Very good free coffee all day as well as hot chocolate and hot cider in afternoons. Two 10 person outdoor hot tubs located on the 5th floor with plenty of towels and the robes in the rooms are great for the hot tub . Hot tubs were never crazy busy and always super clean. If they would add a sauna and steam room that would be an awesome addition.

Location - 4/5- The hotel is located across from the Beaver Run convention center parking lot so about a 5-7 minute walk to the Beaver Run lift chair in the morning. Ski Valet - 5/5- a definite plus - to have warm ski boots in the morning and to be able to just give all your gear to the valet at the end of the day. Restaurant and Bar- Edwin's - 4/5 - food and service are great but the service was slow. My recommendation - order as soon as you sit down. The bar was great service. Rooms - 4/5 - the rooms were roomy and the beds were comfy. Plenty of dresser and space for ski gear. Rooms have a small Keurig and a fridge, so that is nice. The bathrooms are a little tight but clean and modern. WiFi - 5/5 - worked the whole time. Hot Tubs - 3/5 - out of the way to get to them. Staff - 3/5 - they're all nice and ask you and text you if they can get you anything but they don't follow through all the time (we asked for extra pillows one night - did not receiveve and asked for towel refresh the third night and same). The Biggest negative is there is one elevator for 7 floors and so you have to wait a long time for elevators, especially in the morning with everyone trying to get out to the slopes.

Completely renovated hotel with new finishes throughout. Tasteful decor, beautiful fireplace in the lobby and spacious rooms. Very modern amenities. GM Celine has done a wonderful job getting the hotel up and running and training an attentive and friendly staff. A place to be pampered. ..and only a couple dozen yards from the ski slope.

Staff was friendly and the renovation looks nice, but that doesn't make up for serious flaws. We have kids and expected to use the pool that was in the pictures, but there is no pool. Digital key and room TV remotes don't work. Rooms have no microwaves, same for lobby, we had to ask the kitchen to heat up food for our kids. No tea kettles are available either. The rooms are uncomfortably hot and the A/C is disabled. We won't be coming back to this property.

Overwhelmed with the politeness of the staff from the moment you get out of your car. The best stay in Breckinridge by far. The lobby is beautiful and our room spacious, comfortable, immaculate. Must try the bar and restaurant, food is delicious especially the truffle fries.
