A welcomed post Christmas & New Year family break. We stayed in one of the hotel’s apartments. I was concerned that the Art Deco hotel might have been stuck with 1930’s decoration and plumbing - a faded shadow of its former self. It was also the end of the season; would the staff be jaded. No! They couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much of a problem. The apartment was exceptionally well equipped, spacious and clean; the hotel spa and swimming pool equally welcoming and clean. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The team excellentt, year after year. The concierge always recognise you and greets you warmly. The food is good, the service and so is the thermal Spa. I never normally write reviews, but every time I do because the service is so exceptional. Well done, Saunton Sands Hotel.

We had an amazing two night stay here on a Travelzoo voucher. A stunning location with really wonderful facilities and excellent food and drink served in the restaurant. But the highlight of this hotel is its staff. From the lady who arranged out reservation on the telephone, to the reception desk staff, to the waiters in the restaurant, bar and lounge - EVERYONE was helpful, friendly, efficient and just thoroughly lovely people! Nothing was too much trouble. It was refreshing to have such excellent service with genuine staff who clearly love where they work! We loved our trip so much that we immediately bought the deal again and booked whilst we were still at the hotel for the following month! I fear it's going to be a new fave place of mine. Beautiful walks, wonderful views and just the best hotel and staff!

What a wonderful hotel. It was part of our 60th wedding celebrations. The sea view room was spacious and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was a delight, whether it be table service of buffet. Dining was delight with high quality food from a very good in house chef. The location and views is really supreme. Really recommend, particularly for a special occasion. The staff are highly trained and very helpful continually, particularly Stephen who went out os way to help me as I am disabled/.

Stayed here for 2 nights as a birthday treat. Again the staff helped to make this a pleasant stay with them being friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the complimentary drinks and toiletries were a nice touch. The evenings spent in the bar lounge was a delight and relaxing. The food is superb.

Wonderful location. Bedrooms very comfy. Sea view rooms much nicer than other rooms. Breakfast and lunch were both really good with excellent service. The spa was good, great choice of treatments and the sun terrace is a great place to relax afterwards.

My wife and I visited today for an afternoon tea. A good selection of sandwiches and extremely good scones. My wife said they were one of the best scones she has eaten. Lovely "fancy" cakes. Staff very good and can't do enough for you. Worth a visit.
