"Hotel room is very large, the front desk service is very warm, the breakfast is not very rich, but the restaurant is very welcoming and very neat. The hotel is very close to the old town. There is also a discount supermarket. The only thing that is lacking is the soundproofing of the windows on the street or the tram. And the sports car can be heard through the room"

"This is a serviced apartment very close to the city centre in Bratislava, and it was very reasonably priced. Please note it is not close to the train station (it's about half an hour walk if you want to try) but it's only a short hop away by tram. As it is quite close to the city centre, you can either go there for food or there are lots of restaurants nearby and some of them are quite good as well. The room was big, clean and bright. It has one big window, (mine was away from the street so it looks out to the back but the next building is still quite far away so there is still plenty of sunlight coming through). There is a kitchen and utensils (including a kettle if you want to make coffee or tea). The building has laundry machines that guests can use (I didn't need to use it but I think you do need to pay). The staff speaks very good English and friendly so they can be quite helpful if you have any questions. I didn't need to ask any as my stay here was faultless really. It would definitely be on my one of the choices of place to stay when I'm next in Bratislava. There are some things to note though. You probably won't be able to check in until after 2pm. I arrive early and had to wait for my room to be ready. They do have a luggage storage service free of charge though. I can't remember whether they have daily cleaning but I think they don't have daily cleaning from memory which is fine. I'm not a messy person by nature and I'm not that obsessed with hygiene so it wasn't an issue for me."

"2025/6/19 Upon checking in on the first day, we later approached the front desk to add breakfast for the second day. The female staff member with a ponytail and no glasses told us we could settle the bill for breakfast upon check-out. However, when we went for breakfast on the second day, our reservation wasn't found at the restaurant, and we were sent back to the front desk to reconfirm. We went back to the front desk to clarify the situation, but two other female staff members seemed completely unaware of what had happened. Eventually, the original staff member we spoke to appeared. To our utter disbelief, she then retracted her statement, insisting we needed to arrange it directly with the restaurant ourselves? This was utterly baffling and clearly an internal communication failure 🤬🤬🤬. I demand you review the surveillance footage to verify what you actually said! This incident truly ruined our morning and left us feeling incredibly upset. Especially considering this is a reputable international chain, a star-rated hotel, I'm truly at a loss for words. For such a simple matter, adding a note should not be difficult. This is purely due to poor internal communication and unclear staff handover😡. I'm speechless; this is absolutely outrageous! They should have just charged us on the spot to avoid any disputes. Instead, this entire debacle left us with no proof, turning it into a ”Rashomon” situation of conflicting verbal accounts. On the bright side, the location is quite good, and the public spaces are tastefully designed. Overall, the hotel appeared reasonably clean and tidy. Now, regarding the in-room facilities: there was actually quite a bit of dust in the room. On surfaces like the TV cabinet and capsule coffee machine, dust particles were clearly visible floating in the light, which triggered our allergies, causing us to sneeze repeatedly. In room 520, the bathroom constantly emitted peculiar noises, making us wonder if it was some kind of machinery running. Furthermore, this is the first time I've encountered unstable hot water pressure in the shower (it would often turn lukewarm) at a supposedly 'better' chain hotel. To top it all off, the washing machine was also broken, and we were informed it wouldn't be fixed and usable until next week. I'm utterly astonished by this level of inefficiency... 😵💫😵💫😵💫"

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The service is excellent. It is close to the main train station, about 20 minutes walk to the Old Town, there are quite a number of buses make a stop near the hotel including Tram no. 1 that goes by the Old Town. The bed is very comfortable as well as the bedding and pillows. The room feels a bit dark with the paint scheme but that’s just my own opinion. The breakfast buffet is quite good with a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables among other items. Highly recommended."
