We recently stayed for one night last week in a family room - or rather two connecting rooms with a bathroom, positioned on the top floor of the main building overlooking the river. What a view! Yes, the style of the bedrooms is rather dated - public spaces appear to have been more spruced up. However, the warm welcome from all the staff we encountered and the delightful terrace, open for a drink at any time we needed, made up for the lack of modern decor. Parking was within the cave opposite at a rather pricy 15 euros, however we were very willing to pay for the convenience. Unlike another reviewer, I was able to access my car any time I needed to retrieve items I had left there. Thank you - we would return if we were in the area again.
