Branson Victorian Inn

This place SUCKS!!! DO NOT STAY THERE!!!! IT IS DIRTY. THE BATHROOM WAS GROSS, BATHTUB WAS DIRTY, THE FLOORS WERE STICKY THROUGHOUT THE ROOM, THEY ONLY HAD HALF A ROLL OF TOILET PAPER IN THE ROOM, THE TV WAS BROKEN, THE PLUG IN BETWEEN THE BESS DIDNT WORK, YOU HAD TO PUSH THE BATHROOM DOOR REALLY HARD FOR IT TO SHUT AND YOU HAVE TO GO TO ANOTHER HOTEL TO CHECK IN CAUSE THEY DONT HAVE ANYONE WORKING IN THE OFFICE THERE!!!! LET ME TELL YOU THIS WAS LITERALLY THE LAST PLACE IN TOWN TO STAY BESIDES ANOTHER PLACE THAT WAS $900 A NITE! WE HAD NO CHOICE BECAUSE I THOUGHT I MADE RESERVATIONS AT ANOTHER HOTEL BUT I GUESS I DIDNT HIT THE FINAL STEP ONLINE. ALSO, THE INDIAN LADY AT THE DESK TOLD ME I RENTED 2 ROOMS AND I DIDN'T. SHE SAID YES, YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR 2 ROOMS AND ME AND HER HAD WORDS. I WAS EVEN SHOWING HER THE *********** APP THAT I DIDNT HAVE 2 ROOMS. SHE WAS TRYING TO HRR DAMNDEST TO SWINDLE ME. I AM 59 YEARS OLD AND I HAVE NEVER EVER STAYED AT A WORSE PLACE IN MY LIFE. BY THE WAY, THE NEXT MORNING THE GUY AT THE DESK TOLD ME I WASNT DOWN FOR 2 ROOMS. SHE WAS THE OWNER BTW. I TALKED TO AN ELDERLY COULLE OUTSIDE AND THEY WERE INFURIATED ABOUT HOW NASTY THEIR ROOM WAS! DO NOT STAY HERE

First of all, there is no one in the office. There is a sign on the door with a number to call to check in. Apparently, the same group is managing the Stratford House next door, as that is where the attendant came from. The pictures shown on this site in no way resemble the room we had. It was about as basic as you can get. There's no door to the bathroom. There was no clothes rod, only a shelf. The mirror above the sink is only useful for anyone over 6 ft. tall. The floor was dirty. That breakfast area in the pictures - nope - coffee, honey buns and dunkin sticks in a basket next door. When we returned back to the room on our second day, there had been no service - only fresh towels left. It appears they may be doing some much needed renovations. I would not recommend this facility until it is greatly upgraded.
