Comfortable hotel, well positioned within a short drive of keys points of interest. Evening meal menu choice was good and the quality of the food coming out of the kitchen was excellent. Bar facilities, garden and lounge facilities were also very good. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The hotel made for a very comfortable base whilst exploring what the New Forest had to offer.

Enjoyed a 2 night stay at The Bell Inn, bed breakfast and evening meal plus 2 rounds of golf (Paultons and Bramshaw Forest). Overall very good. Room was very nice, clean and tidy, with en-suite bathroom. Breakfast excellent, and evening meal equally good quality. Couple of things were a bit of a niggle: mattress was “flat” on one side so my wife felt she was rolling out of bed - reported to receptionist and hotel have ordered new mattress for future guests. Shower was fine but did take a few minutes to warm up. Breakfast was excellent but 2nd morning the staff member. On duty hadn’t been trained to use cappuccino machine so only tea or filter coffee available. Evening meals were excellent. Overall a very nice stay and definitely worth another stay.

Good idea to have a sign with the golf access turn to include hotel. The only sign to suggest this was a chalkboard sign for pedestrians outside hotel entrance. This B road is actually a very busy junction.My room had no stand alone fan and worse the extract fan in the bathroom did not function. The bathroom became like a perpetual sauna. Whilst outside temperature had cooled the room became very uncomfortable. Bell inn new forest

A lovely 1950s hotel, well modernised with character in lovely grounds. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable, if a little too warm at night during our stay. The staff in reception and restauarnt were engaging and enhanced our stay. Dinner in the restaurant was superb but breakfast disappointed.

As a group of nine couples we enjoyed three days at the Bell Inn, playing golf and exploring the New Forest. The location is excellent with the M27 just 5 mins away. We played the Manor golf course twice and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fairways are in excellent condition and the course layout very well thought out. The food didn’t disappoint and with the sun shining we enjoyed drinks in the garden. The golf course is only a short walk from the hotel as well
