I’m a big fan of Premier Inns over a long period. The Huntingdon location is very well placed as a stopover, but starting to fray a bit and needs a tidy up, especially the nearby Harvester Restaurant. There was confusion about Parking notices that required Registration numbers being entered at Reception or Restaurant. The new Staff seemed rather baffled regarding the Parking system and this should be clarified when booking in. We forgot to enter Reg number for several hours and the Trainee Receptionist said “I think you will be ok.” When we left after two nights a Manageress said that the system had not yet been started up. Secondly, we asked for a room clean and new towels for the second night, this didn’t happen. We got new towels at Reception, we are not ‘Complainers’ but please don’t let things slip. Premier Inns is a good brand and Hotel group let’s keep the standards up not down.
