The location is perfect with Avenue de la Libertade leading to the center, restaurants, activities, etc.
The room was spacious, very comfortable, nice bathroom with an exceptional shower cubicle.
The service was normal, nothing more. We didn't eat there so no comments, except for the very average room service sandwich, not even a few crisps to go with it, untoasted bread. Really insufficient, does not correspond to the hotel.
Otherwise, everything is perfect. We recommend and we will surely come back if we pass Braga again.

Good space, cool, good care, however, they didn't want to borrow us two collars! Yes, they couldn't borrow us! I seemed to have a work in the room above, pq we listened to a burning noise! And we had the impression of having a party in the room next door, with music and we talking very loudly. What was resolved as soon as we talked the reception. But the fact that we didn't lend two collars left a lot to desire! We rethink once again!

Ibis a 10 minutos andando del centro. Habitación amplia para ser un Ibis. Tiene como 2 ambientes, pero solo en uno hay un solo enchufe. El baño es pequeño. Sin secador. Los recepcionistas bastantes antipáticos y no hablan español. Cerca puedes aparcar, pero hay gorrillas que te piden 5€. Yo no dejaría el coche allí, por lo que lo dejamos en un parking público a 500m con el que tiene acuerdo el hotel y cobran 10€ el día. El desayuno vale 6,5€ por persona. No merece la pena, es el peor desayuno que he visto. Solo pan, unos mini croissant, café, yogur y poco más. Muy escaso para lo que vale.

Nice hotel, very well located in the historic district. There were enough electrical outlets for my husband and I to each use our CPAP machine. For us this detail was very important, because we met on our way hotels that only had one electrical outlet and not next to the bed. We had trouble parking. Nice policemen helped us. Their lunch served at the table is delicious, lots of choice and all you can eat. All the staff at the property are very kind and helpful. Guimaraes will have been one of our most beautiful cities that we have visited in Portugal. Small detail for those who have never been to Europe. If you enter your room and the electricity is not working, look at the entrance to your room (inside the room), there should be a small box, put your room card there and push a bit and the electricity will work. Do not forget to take it back before leaving the room. We discovered this at this hotel. Many hotels operate this way.

All came different from planned. Initially Famalicao was planned to be the centre of football games and the surrounding cities like Braga, Barcelos or Guimaraes, as well as the Douro Valley, at the end I spent a week with Corona in this hotel. Here I can very much praise the hotel staff who could give me good recommendations for pharmacies and testing sites. Fortunately, there is a large supermarket next to the hotel. The hotel is located directly opposite the football stadium of FC Famalicao. I could look directly from the room to the stadium. The hotel is still very new and the rooms were excellently isolated to the walk and the neighbouring rooms, a huge quality feature in my opinion. The bathroom was also very modern with rainforest shower. Unfortunately, breakfast (which can be taken normally in Portugal because of lack of isolation) did not convince me. There was exactly the same every day, but fortunately I didn't have so much hunger. Free tea or coffee can be taken all day at the tea bar.

The staff is nice, but not as attentive as they should be in a 4 start hotel, and that is the reason why I didn’t gave a 5. They didn’t know that we paid the room online before the check in, and asked to pay again without checking for exemple. They have games room, and bar, but both weren’t open and the bar had no one to serve you, it seem that was closed.

GGuest UserWe stayed 3 nights in this delightful hotel as our base for exploring the region. The top floor suites look bigger in the online photos than they actually are, yet the room was comfy and we loved hearing the bells chime. Please be aware that the elevator is narrow. The breakfast is the usual fare of yogurt, cheeses, breads, and fruits. Our western-facing windows permitted us to see the sunset over the Arco da Porta Nova. Located at one end of the main shopping street, we had lots of options of cafes and restaurants as we strolled towards the central square area. It is also directly across from a small bakery cafe. Being a university town, we arrived just as new students were being initiated into their academic units and marching around in colorful groups singing songs until 4am, Since we had a rental car, going to Peneda Geres naitonal park was an easy drive and we enjoyed hiking and then returning to the hotel. The hotel recommends the Park Center (R. Cardoso Avelino 25, 4700-219) which is a short (10 minute) easy walk slightly uphill to the hotel. In October, the Park Center was mostly empty and quick to get in and out.

The quality of service is outstanding! The service is very attentive, professional and discreet.
We had dinner in the restaurant... Very happy! Meals, desserts, wine, quiet, peaceful music, the right tone... We like it.
I highly recommend it to people who like and need silence, nature... and who have dated a 29-year marriage and helped raise 3 good children.

GGuest UserA good or luck have chosen this hotel for a quick visit to Braga since the hotel itself is located in the monument to visit (bom Jesus do monte) and very close to another point of interest (basilica de Sameiro) The hotel is an old and safe hotel would be a good repas, but it is clean, beautiful and very good location. Reasons for oversight to give you a very good assessment.
