Best Hotels near Brading Marsh, Brading

This hotel is actually good, I was wary after checking the recent reviews but I found myself pleasantly surprised. The hotel is recently refurbished and it shows, my room was unsullied by previous guests disruptive behaviours or the accidental throw up stains you associate with Travelodges. The only complaint I have which unfortunately drags the score down is the parking situation. Had I known this before I arrived then I would possibly reconsidered this hotel for one with a payable or free car park! Ll

The evening staff where nowhere to be seen on the evening we checked in. They had a sign at reception saying they were in the bar and a sign in the bar saying they were at reception. Took over 20 minutes to find a member of staff to be able to check in and they weren’t even apologetic once they turned up. The next evening we went for a drink in the bar, while the rugby finals were on. There were many people trying to get a drink, however again the bar/reception staff were not around. Ended up giving up waiting without being served and going back to our room instead. Very disappointed with the service. The room and location had everything you needed, however and we had no complaints in this regard.

The breakfast is good, the location is super good, the service is good, and the price is affordable! Hee hee, it is suitable for taking children. There is no parking lot, but there are many parking lots nearby, and the location is super good.

I have just returned from a 3 night stay over last weekend. Check in was fine, staff prompt, courteous and very polite. The room was a single on the second floor and i was very impressed with the decor and layout. The room was spotless and maintained by housekeeping that way throughout my stay. It had a fridge, which was a godsend, kettle, complimentary tea and coffee and a nice flat screen above the bed. It did get hot due to the warm weather, unfortunately, you couldn't open the window's for fresh air more than an inch and that needs correcting. although there was a fan but its never the same as fresh air. The bed was very comfortable. I ate out at nights, so, i cannot judge the restaurant and breakfast was at £15 and included a lot of other peoples brats, so that was a no no for me and i gave it a swerve. The hotel itself is very grand and you can tell that a lot of money has been invested in it and still is and it is good to see. Furthermore, every time I came in to the hotel and went in or out of my room the staff always greeted me and wished me a good day or good evening. I have travelled to hotels all over the world and I cannot understand some of the negative reviews on here regarding this hotel. its nonsense from what i can see. So, My verdict : Highly recommended and I would certainly stay here again.

The hotel faces the sea and is in a great location! The house has been 110 years old. Boss David is a typical English gentleman, very nice! Breakfast is also quite rich. The rooms are large and spacious, and the kitchenette can be eaten by themselves. The hotel does not serve lunch or dinner, but there are supermarkets and some restaurants nearby! The parking lot is large and can also be used as a charging pile for Tesla.

Stayed here with the family last weekend and would highly recommend this hotel. The room was clean and, even though the rules have changed, housekeeping were very efficient. Breakfast was as you would expect but with more care and attention than I have seen at any other Travelodge. Hot food was replenished almost instantly and everything was clean and tidy. Special mention must go to Doreen who provided hands down the best customer service I have ever received in any hotel. My son is coeliac and Doreen took the time on our first evening to go through each menu item and double check what was suitable for him. She was friendly and engaging, always with a smile on her face. During breakfast she made a point of greeting each guest and seemed to know who was happy for a chat and who was happy with just a cheery 'good morning'.

A last-minute getaway for my birthday and it didn't disappoint. A friendly and helpful welcome from Laina and Dennis awaits you. The rooms are immaculate, the bed is comfy, and we were lucky enough to have a bay room that looks right out over, well, the bay. The breakfast is excellent, tasty, well cooked, a good variety (including fried bread!!), and it really sets you up for a day of exploring. Our only downside is that we only got to stay two nights and wish it could be longer. We will certainly be returning and look forward to staying for longer next time. I read a few negative reviews before arriving here and I was a bit worried about how my stay would go. I have to say all of theses reviews were proved wrong. We had a really good stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and the reception staff especially were constantly working on reception, in the bar and helping clear after meals and breakfast. Our room was very clean and convenient. The only issue is the separate charge for parking. Having to pay on a machine at a hotel is unusual and unnecessary.
