The Castle Inn

Stayed for one night, a sunday. It seems a cooked breakfast which we had paid for is not available on Monday but a cool bag would be delivered to our room. This arrived Sunday evening. It contained individual packets of cereals, Corn flakes Weetabix etc, two tubs of instant unsweetened porridge and half a dozen cereal bars. You could not have more than one cereal as there was only one small bottle of milk per person. No honey or sugar or syrup for the porridge. No fruit. No yogurt. No croissants or bread rolls. The welcome was good. The room and bathroom large. Decent bedding and towels. If a cooked breakfast is not to be provided they need to seriously up their game on the contents of the cool bag. Extremely disappointing. Unlikely to book again.

Excellent room. Large bed. Tea and coffee making facilities. Good bathroom. Both the breakfasts and the dinners were superb quality. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. It was an excellent break. Thank you to all at the Castle for making my wife and I feel so welcome.

I had a wonderful meal with friends on Wednesday evening. The pub was so cosy and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The food was delicious and the staff were all very hard-working, friendly and professional. It's a fantastic pub, but make sure you reserve a table if you're planning to eat as it gets busy. Thank you to the lovely staff!

What a lovely homely, warm, comfortable stay… we as a family had all 4 rooms between us… lovely clean beds and towels.. breakfast was so yummy… even my 4 doggies had a good time.. thank you guys for looking after us so well. We will deffo be staying with you again.. see you soon..

Can’t wait to return. Pub had a lovely atmosphere with friendly/helpful staff. Lovely small adequate menu, which we actually prefer. Fresh, delicious tasting plates of food & everyone was happily fed. All gutted couldn’t fit a dessert in, as the plates going by looked yummy - next time hopefully.

Superb, homely inn with very friendly staff. Good selection of drinks and truly sumptuous breakfast. In close proximity to Bradford on Avon. Very clean and well appointed rooms; the view from the room were unparalleled. Fully worth a visit.
