Basic hotel but very clean and has everything you need for a short stay. The room was enormous. Very friendly staff. Couldn't get the WiFi to work but 4g signal was excellent so it didn't matter. We enjoyed the use of the pool and jacuzzi. Will be booking next year when we are in town for the Coolest Projects event again.

We love this cheap and cheerful hotel, Stayed last night booked the waterbed room, Discovered the waterbed was not for us. The lovely man on reception moved us without any hesitation. Our go to budget hotel clean comfy great service for the price

Stayed here as was attending a birthday party. The room for the party was lovely. Room - in desperate need of a make over. Very very tired. Spacious room and clean but certainly not comfortable or an enjoyable stay. Stains on all the furniture. Bathroom gritty. Breakfast I can honestly say it was the worst I have ever had. The sausage were the cheapest on the market. It came with very pale scrambled egg no choice in egg, hash brown was a weird colour inside. We left practically everything This place needs bulldozing

Amazing hotel. Lovely friendly staff. We had a huge double room. Swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna wonderful. My husband enjoyed the gym. We had a fabulous very reasonable meal in the bar in the evening. They have their own real ale. Lots of choice for vegetarians

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was really clean and very spacious and we had a good sleep, although I did feel the hotel would benefit from an update.

I had a great big room and thought it was good value, liked the small pool and sauna, the staff are great and helpful and the on-site pub served good food with a discount for residents, it’s not the Ritz but an enjoyable stay.

The location is perfect for visiting family and friends. The hotel is showing signs of ‘wear and tear’ and you get what you pay for which is clean bedding and reasonably clean room… carpet a bit iffy! The staff I met were all very friendly it was however disappointing that I couldn’t use my fire stick as the nearest plug point was too far from tv. No extensions available at the hotel but advised I would be able to purchase one at the local supermarket. I managed to get one from family but after lots of faffing about was left frustrated and disappointed that there was no WiFi in the room despite this being offered. The manager on duty reset the booster but was not able to get a signal! On reading some of the other reviews this does appear to be an issue!

The main thing is that the room was very clean and pleasant. We had a family room and it was very spacious and bright. For the price we paid it was very good. The staff were very friendly and professional and very helpful. Definitely ring a swimming costume/trunks. We did enjoy the gym and swimming facilities.
