Went for valentines meal, absolutely beautiful food and such great value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful. The portion Size was huge. The restaurant is spacious and clean. We will definitely be back. Big free spacious car park..

Lovely country pub, and friendly atmosphere, with a nice menu that's reasonably priced. We opted for the very tasty Sunday lunch, decent portions, and with choice of meats ,as well as a good veggie & vegan option. Followed by nice pudding of Bakewell tart & coffees.

Dropped in for lunch with friends, found a table easily, but it's nice to see a busy pub, lots of dogs and not too noisy! Staff were doing well despite being a body down by the sound of it. Food was delicious and beer was clear as a bell. Thanks guys :)

Lovely tasty hot food excellent friendly service in cosy pub just what we needed after a walk round Damflask reservoir and beautiful drive through the countryside. This is our fourth visit although previous visits were sometime ago and Would definitely recommend . A good beer as well we had local from Bradfield Brewery.

We came as a family yesterday, after a walk round the reservoir. Initially I was frustrated because the opening times online said 11:30 but it was actually 12pm. However, after a phone call to explain this, we were let in early and times online seem to have been corrected. Thank you. We all enjoyed our Sunday dinners. The range of sides were great. The food came out promptly as well.

Usually only call in here for a beer garden beer in the summer as it has great walking links but went for food today for the first time in a while and it did not disappoint Lamb, beef, turkey, pork and gammon options for Sunday lunch. No Lamb left, obviously a popular option and it was 3.30pm but the beef and pork roast dinners were really nice Great service with friendly staff and it is a nice, homely country pub. Will definitely be back for food

My husband and I have been a few times and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We returned with a friend recently and were again not disappointed. Friendly smiling service, very enjoyable food and great ale. My friend was delighted with the pub. Thank you for a super evening, again!
