Mustafa bey ve eşi Özlem hanım tarafından işletilen çok tatlı sevimli bir ev. ev diyorum çünkü kendinizi gerçekten evinizde gibi hissediyorsunuz. Mustafa bey ve Özlem hanım her misafiri ile ayrı ayrı ilgilenir ve muhabbet ederler, bir şeye ihtiyacınız olduğunuzda çekinmeden söyleyebilirsiniz kendilerine. özellikle kahvaltıları çok güzel ve kahvaltıda da özellikle reçelleri harika.

Öncelikle, aklınızdaki tüm otel, pansiyon vb unutun. Burada aile ve sıcak bir ortam var. Özlem hanımın enerjisinin bağımlısı oluyorsunuz. Kendi elleriyle hazırladığı kahvaltı ve özel ev yapımı reçelleri ile size sunduğu o lezzeti unutmanız mümkün değil. Mustafa bey'in (Özlem hanımın eşi) sabahları size gitarı ile uyandırmak için seçtiği o slow şarkıları ile güne uyanmak, ayrı bir bağımlılık yaratıyor. Ada ile ilgili tüm bilgileri ve püf noktaları Özlem hanım size anlatıyor. Misafirleri ile, misafir gibi değil, sanki yıllardır tanıdığınız bir dostuymuş gibi ilgilenen Özlem hanıma çok teşekkür ediyorum. Her sene yıllık izinlerimden arta kalan 3-4 günlük boş günlerimde mutlaka gittiğim, yaza burada veda ederek sezonu kapattığım bir yer. Tekrar görüşmek üzere...

Temmuz'un ikinci haftası Amaranda da konakladık. İlk iletişim kurduğumuz andan itibaren Mustafa Bey her konuda çok ilgili ve yardımcıydı. Otel Rum Mahallesi'nde. Konumu çok güzel. Henüz gürültülü barlar oraya kadar sızamamış. Umarım bir dahaki gidişimizde hayal kırıklığı yaşamayız. Terastaki odada kaldık. Oda çok tatlı ve ferah. Tuvaletin yapı olarak tam izole olmaması dışında bir problem yok :) Bizim kaldığımız dönem Türkiye'nin en sıcak günlerine denk geldiği için ve teras olmasından dolayı biraz sıcaktı ama klima ile sıkıntı yaşamadan atlattık. Sabahları ***et güzel bir kahvaltı, çalışan hanım (adını öğrenemedim, çok üzgünüm) çok ilgili ve tatlıydı. Mustafa Bey her sabah her konuğuyla teker teker ilgileniyor, ada hakkında bilgiler veriyor, o gün rüzgarın durumuna göre nerede denize girilir gibi mesela. Veya akşam yemeğe gideceğiz istediğimiz restoranda yer bulamadık hemen bir telefon :) Yazılanları okuduğumda acaba fazla mı diye düşünmüştüm ama tanıyınca gerçekten de az bile yazılmış diyebilirim. Eşi ile son gün tanıştık. O da Mustafa Bey gibi sıcak ve ilgili. Bozcaada tatilinizde Amaranda'yı mutlaka tercih etmenizi öneririm.

Birkaç yıl arayla iki kez kalma şansımız oldu. Her seferinde aynı içtenlikle karşılandık, kendi evimizde hissettik. Odalar rahat, kahvaltı bahçesi şirin, kahvaltı özenli. Bozcaada’nın en güzel sokaklarından birinde, tertemiz bir otel.
