Great short stay at this lovely place. Ideally located for nearby Chichester and the surrounding area. Clean, comfortable & cosy well equipped room. Plenty of storage. Despite being on what was at times quite a busy road the glazing means you still get a good night’s rest. Great information provided about the local area and ideas for places to visit and where to eat. Beautiful lounge area and a really lovely bright breakfast room with plenty of ‘help yourself’ choices in addition to the freshly cooked, delicious breakfast. Matt was a very warm and welcoming host and gave us some great tips which made our visit even better. Feels like a real family business full of heart and soul.

I felt very comfortable there. The location is very cozy, and the atmosphere is very family-like. The breakfast is fantastic, and Matt, the host, is very friendly and helpful. For me, the proximity to the factory of the well-known car brand located there was an additional plus.

Had a night away with the wife exploring Chichester the day before and visiting Fontwell Racing the day after. Self check was nice and simple as per the welcome email. Room was comfortable and clean! Breakfast was ordered the night before and was absolutely delicious! We have already decided that we will want to stay again next year when visiting again. Thanks to Matt the host who ee met when having breakfast

Absolutely beautiful cottage guesthouse. The owners were very personable. The accommodation was fresh clean and very welcoming. Self check in was easy. The groundfloor twin room was very spacious and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was delicious. Location was a ten minute drive from Chichester town centre and cathedral. We had a lovely dinner in the Anglesey Arms a few minutes walk away from the cottage. A fantastic stay in beautiful Chichester.

Great location close to Goodwood , bus stop outside , local pub only 5mins walk ! Lovely twin room was very quiet , comfy beds ,the check in was easy , park at the front door and milk in fridge for our tea! Matt is perfect host cooked us the most amazing breakfast , we couldn't wish for more . Definitely recommend a stay here .

This is charming accommodation on the edge of a pretty village and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The room and the en suite were clean, the beds comfortable and the hosts had clearly thought about everything that guests would need for their stay. The breakfast choice was great, perfectly presented and tasted wonderful. We would definitely return to explore the nearby Goodwood offerings and would 100% recommend the Old Store Guest House to others. The Anglesey Arms is a lovely place to eat too.

Only stayed for one night, arrived late and left early. Nevertheless, I had a great encounter with Matt (the owner) who helped out with beverages late night and a nice chat. He provided an early breakfast (before opening) and made the stay very comfortable. Room was cosy and clean, with some love for detail. All in all a very warm and welcoming atmostphere. Happy to come again!
