"I rated the service as disappointing because we had booked the hotel for two nights anticipating that we would eat dinner in the dining room each evening. But we received an email 3 days before arrival informing us that the dining room would be closed n both those evening. Otherwise the service was good. The facilities were good except that on arrival there was no water in the taps. The staff corrected this after a couple of hours, but it was inconvenient.."

"The hotel room is small, the hotel waiter is bad. When we checked in at night, we told him that we wanted to add two breakfasts, and he said that we could pay for them tomorrow. We were worried that the price would be different if we paid at night and the next morning. The male waiter kept saying no, and insisted that I pay tomorrow. He said it was the same price, but the next morning, a female waiter changed and charged 3 pounds more per person. Travelers who book hotels in the future should pay attention to avoid scams. The small bridge leading into the village will stop a car and charge one pound."

"I am very satisfied with the hotel I booked in Bath this time. It is located on a small hillside and should have been a castle villa in the past. The environment is very good. Although the room is not particularly large, it is enough for two people to live in. The decoration is stylish. The room is cleaned every day. The breakfast is also very good. In addition to the classic English breakfast, you can also order a few free items such as bread with smoked fish and scrambled eggs, which taste very good. The tea set is also customized and of good quality. The service in the restaurant is also very good, especially a supervisor named Tom, who knows some Chinese and is very friendly and provides good service. Thumbs up! There is a bus at the door of the hotel to the city center, which is also very convenient. Free parking for self-driving! In short, if I have the opportunity to come to Bath next time, I will definitely stay here for a few days!"

"Positives - excellent receptionist (Vipin) and without his help I would have probably checked out early. Has parking. Reasonable location and access into central Bath. Has an electric kettle and a pack of cookies.
Not so positives - In desperate need of upgrade, creaking floors, wash basin outside the bathroom. It isn’t for work related travellers as you cannot even use an iron without tripping off the entire building main switch and once that happen there is no 24 hour active reception. No fan or iron provided in room so you have to ask. Tiny computer monitor used as a make shift TV that you have to pull out of a closet. No drinking water in room. Value for money not there as many better locations available at same or lower price."
