This is a lovely cottage! The dining room is well decorated and the room is comfy and clean. The host Glen and Susan are very nice and suggested us lots of good spots to go. Highly recommend. :)

We would give Storr’s Gate House 10 out of 10 if we could. With a very warm welcome on arrival, Glenn showed us to our amazing room - total perfection, no detail missed. The whole property is so warm & inviting making you want to stay much longer. Breakfast in the dining room overlooking the beautifully manicured garden was divine. We had the best fresh fruit, yoghurt & granola and perfectly cooked eggs. Other options were also available & nothing is a problem. Glenn & Susann were always on hand with great suggestions on sightseeing & local restaurants. We were so glad we took up Glenn’s suggestion of a visit & how to get to Beatrix Potter’s Hilltop Farm. Our stay couldn’t have been any better. It was total perfection in every way. Thank you Glenn & Sussan from Shelley & Peter

This was our second visit and just like the first had another amazing experience Glenn and Susann are the perfect hosts and cannot do enough to ensure you have the perfect stay Everywhere is spotless and the rooms are so beautiful . You will not find a better breakfast anywhere

This is our second visit to Storrs Gate House. A wonderful B&B , Susann & Glenn cannot do enough for you . The cleanliness is exceptional, the rooms are all delightful, we stopped in the Annex this time which was very luxurious beautiful white towels, roll top bath and a lovely shower. The breakfast is excellent such a big choice and sourced locally. Having a car park is a great bonus too and it’s a short walk along the footpath round the Lake Windermere to get to Bowness Pier. We highly recommend ,we will have no hesitation in visiting again in the future .

A beautiful house with a lovely atmosphere. The property has a pretty garden that is available for guests to use and enjoy. The hosts are very friendly and provide a delicious and plentiful breakfast. Bedrooms are incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean. The house is within a short walking distance to Lake Windermere and Bowness om Windermere.

What a gorgeous B&B. Susann & Glen could not have been more welcoming and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. The property is in a fantastic location, with convenient parking - you can walk into Bowness in just 15 mins. The room was beautiful with a really comfortable bed and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic. All in all, we would highly recommend staying here.
