10 minutes drive from the train station
The room is small, but nice. It is close to the lake area and only takes 10 minutes to walk there
You can store your luggage for free.
There is no elevator, so you have to help your luggage upstairs.

The room is very small, it's an attic. To be honest, I don't recommend staying here. It can be considered a B&B. The only thing is that it is in a small town in the lake district, which may be more convenient. There is a parking space which is good.

The location is good and the room is clean, but it is a bit cold in winter. The landlord thoughtfully provided a small electric heater, but unfortunately it stopped working in the middle of the night. It is close to various restaurants in the town, and it is convenient to find delicious food.

The property was nicely decorated, however my room was a double which was located on the second floor. The room did have a double bed in it and tea/coffee making facilties however there were narrow stairs as soon as you opened the door which meant going down towards the bed. Which barely fitted in the area.
The bathroom has a shower cubicle and toilet but had no room for a sink which was located in the actual room. There was maybe a foot space along one side of the bed and the other side was pushed against a wall. Had there been 2 of us in the room we would have struggled to move within it. It also smelled like it needed airing, maybe they had been closed for a while and not aired bedding?, Im not sure. I felt that for what it offered it was overpriced.

The hotel is conveniently located but there was no parking due to on going works. The room is tired, the tv at a peculiar angle to the bed so difficult to watch. The remote control for the tv didn’t match the tv. The room was right at the top of the building after some difficult and steep stairs.

Room was very small but adequate for our 2 night stay. The shower tray kept filling up with water which was very annoying. The room wasn't cleaned for our 2nd night so had to use wet towels.See older reviews ,shower issue has been ongoing. Would stay again but ask for a different room. Location and parking was great.
