Very good environment and accommodation, the whole hotel is a small resort with a very good environment. The room was clean and tidy, the apartment also had kitchen equipment and a full set of cutlery. The hotel is very close to the lake area and shopping is very close, very convenient. The Lake District is so beautiful! We will come again! recommend!

We arrived after 6 o'clock, and the front desk was off work. Fortunately, we received the room key code in the mailbox, and we checked in smoothly. The accommodation is comfortable enough for 6 people. We also went to a nearby supermarket to buy ingredients, and we missed a light meal for the buffet. too perfect.

This is one of the worst hotels you can find in Windermere. Trust me, do not book this one if you want to have a peaceful time in such a lovely town. 1. They advertise incorrect pictures of the room and assign you wrong room types. My booking picture showed balcony but they assigned me one without a balcony. The hotel manager said he was not aware that that hotel booking is being advertised wrongly. What kind of manager doesn't even know where and how his hotel rooms are being listed. 2. The bed is not king or super king as advertised. Worst - the room had a broken double bed due to which one of us had to sleep on the floor. 3. There was no one at reception when I reached and no instructions were left. I had to make an international call to check in. 4. No action is taken even after you make a complain. They all disappear after 4 pm and no service after that. 5. Toilet flush was not working ...had to live with dirty toilet for 1 day.

We allocated you in the category you booked via a 3rd party platform. Your house (sleep 6) had a balcony in the living room overlooking the garden. The reception manager only commented that he was not aware of anything wrongly advertised. The platforms have a gallery of photos for each category. The beds are indeed king size. We are sorry to hear that the pull down bed in your living room had a broken leg. This has been replaced, apologies if it caused any inconvenience during your stay. Unfortunately there was not a phone contact number that we could contact to. Your booking 'agoda' ******* didn't have your details nor we were able to send you a message via ******* platform, hence we had to wait for you to contact us. You rang the emergency number and we provided you with the code for the self check-in. OUr office hours are from 8.30am to 6pm midweek, and only Sundays we are open until 5pm, however we are reachable on extreme emergencies 24/7. Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused during your stay and we are sorry to hear that we did not live up to your expectations due to unsuitable accommodation. We recommend you to book a Premier apartment if you visit us again. Thank you

We have just returned from our 4th stay at burnside park. As always it did not disappoint. Spotlessly clean and everything you need for a perfect stay. We stayed in no. 50. Nice and modern and perfect location. I highly recommend these cottages for anyone wanting excellent accommodation in beautiful grounds with parking. We are already planning to return .

Stayed here several times before as a Hapimag member. Great location and very easy to catch open top buses from the boating area. Plenty of hot water and heating to keep the cottage toasty and warm. We also stayed in number 41 and found the bedroom small with little space around the bed but the beds and pillows very comfortable. Our other 2 guests dropped out of the visit and would have found it rather cramped on the sofa bed in the living area. Arrival was disappointing as there was a funny smell in the cottage ( I'm thinking it came from the vacuum cleaner when used). The bedroom floor was dusty, a couple of curtain hooks on the floor (curtains not hanging properly) and many crumbs under the bed. There is no doormat to wipe wet feet! This would really help to keep the laminate floors clean! Bread/croissants can be ordered to be collected from reception at a very resonable price. Sadly, one of our 'fresh' teacakes was stale and hard! We enjoyed our stay but wasn't quite the usual high standard of Hapimag.

We are Hapimag Members and this is one of three resorts in the UK. We stayed in Apartment 41 and being a person with restricted mobility we found the bedroom to be small and not much stay around the bed for my mobility

Please contact us next time ahead of your arrival so we can allocate you in another ground floor apartment with more spacious bedroom. Apartment 41's bathroom was converted into a shower room to help guests with walking difficulties and a new laminated floor (removal of carpet) will help guests with allergies, however when it comes to rearrange the refurbishment of the bedroom we are limited on space unfortunately.
