Arrived on a family trip and the car park was full actually overflowing with cars parked everywhere. Called reception who said they don’t guarantee parking for guests and suggest finding parking elsewhere and walking back. When you’re paying $500 for one night the car park should be for guest not for public attending the ekka or. Then drove to the car park they suggested and spent an hour looking for a park with no success. We had to park near the hospital and catch an uber to the hotel. Additionally the bathroom smelt like men’s urine, the room service breakfast was hardly warm and the amount of dust flying around the room wasn’t making it any more appealing. I have stayed here three years ago and was very happy but this time I wouldn’t go back.

I won’t talk about the facilities of this hotel… On the 18th, the day of check-in, they asked for a prepayment guarantee, and I used my Bank of China credit card.
Then after we checked out, the hotel charged three fees in a row.
On the morning of the 19th, one was for parking fees, which we understood, and one was for drinks in the evening, when we all returned to Auckland. I immediately called the front desk and made it clear that I did not consume any hotel supplies, so they asked me to check thoroughly.
In the early morning of the 20th, there was another consumption, which I felt was wrong. How could this hotel continue to deduct money from me after I checked out? This is not abusing credit card information and threatening the security of the guests’ accounts.
I often use credit cards to travel and stay in hotels, but this is the first time I have encountered this. The hotel has not given me a reasonable explanation. I hope Ctrip customer service will intervene to protect the interests of the guests. I will also call Bank of China and hope that they will monitor whether the hotel’s behavior is in compliance with regulations to prevent the risk of information leakage.
