Very nice hotel, comfortable room, good breakfast included. Very close to the Boka Falls, beautiful views of the surround mountains and the Soca river. Nice large, comfortable public balconies, self serve coffee and tea bars. Small private sauna (need to pre-book). Restaurant only does a set menu 4 course dinner, would be nice to have an ala carte menu. Would stay here again.

We felt wonderfully hosted at Hotel Boka by Sasha, Anastacia, and the rest of the team. The restaurant waiter (whose name we sadly don’t recall) was also lovely and highly accommodating to our specific dietary requirements. The breakfast was varied and generous. The restaurant has excellent local offerings at a reasonable price level. We felt well fed during our entire 3 day stay. The location of the hotel is right next to a short hike to the Boka waterfall and also right next to a popular landing point for river kayak/rafting trips. It is a 10 minute drive into the center of bovec and cezsoka. The room size was very large and there was also a large bathroom with a very large bathtub in the deluxe room. The beds and bedding were comfortable. We enjoyed having the balcony, which are available in two of the rooms. There was general purpose body wash / shampoo, which wasn’t great as a shampoo option. We would recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioner. Overall, lovely stay that we can highly recommend!

We enjoyed our 3 nights in the Boka Hotel. We were upgraded to a family rooom (free of charge). The room was clean and spacious. The views were amazing (ask for a room overlooking the river and the peaks if you want quiet). The breakfast was very fulfilling and made with local ingredients (when possible). Their butter is delicious and so is kaša and the local cheeses. Ask for a veg meal and they will accommodate. The staff is polite and helpful with tips on hiking paths. No need to look for a good restaurant, the one in the hotel is amazing. If you eat meat, ask for the ribs. Veg meals are possible and rather good. Must try štruklji! Feo pale ale is good even for those who do not like pale ale.

A stylish and comfortable hotel in a beautiful setting with excellent service. The food was top quality and great value. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the soft furnishing were all really well done. The owners/managers were really professional, helpful and friendly. A lovely locally owned hotel for travellers.

Just a little out of Bovec town, situated on the banks of a river, and although the road passes close by, it is so peaceful and quiet. Handy location for those wishing to do outdoor activities-canoeing, biking, walking, etc. Also a handy halfway stop between the Vrisc Pass and Postojna caves while also following the Peace Trail. Rooms are comfortable, spacious, warm and quiet. On premise dining is catered by one of the owners who is the chef. Tight menu during a public holiday weekend was very nice indeed. Operated by a husband and wife team, and their kids it is a really friendly and welcoming environment. On site free car parking, elevators help with the luggage. Terrific stopover.

We have stayed three nights at 4-star Hotel Boka. The staff is friendly and the hotel is beautifully located. But for the price we paid and the positioning as a 4-star hotel it is not enough. There is no fridge in the room and the furniture is just basic. The curtains where broken and even one of the windows had cracks. There a number of small building problems - nothing serious, just not fitting to positioning and price.

Hiking on Juliana trail we have tried several places. Some good hotels, but less good restaurants. Hotel Boka has both and taking price in consideration, it is very good. We had a great dinner, very friendly and professional host. Tasty local food, cooked with understanding how it should be. Great location, just by the river. Thank you.

Das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir gaben ein Up Grate für das Zimmer vor Ort gekauft , damit wir ein gr. Zimmer mit Bad bekommen. Die Zimmer sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen und abgewohnt und auch die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Die Matratzen müssten dringend ausgetauscht werden. Würde ich kein 2. Mal buchen. Leider war auch das Restaurant geschlossen.
