I booked a stay at Larindas Landing during COVID lockdown (October 2021), and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite encountering unexpected circumstances that required a cancellation, I was met with a disappointing level of customer service. Upon reaching out to the staff to discuss a possible refund, I was met with a condescending and disrespectful tone that left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. The refusal to consider my situation and explore potential solutions seemed unreasonable and lacked the empathy one would expect from a hospitality business. Effective communication is crucial in the service industry, and I regret to say that the way my concerns were addressed fell far short of expectations. It is disheartening to encounter such an approach, especially when dealing with an establishment that relies heavily on positive customer experiences. I believe a business's success is not only measured by the quality of its accommodations but also by the level of customer service it provides. In this regard, Larindas Landing has room for improvement. I hope that future guests have a more positive experience or, at the very least, encounter a more empathetic and understanding response in case of unforeseen circumstances. Unfortunately, my experience has left a lasting impression, and I am unlikely to consider Larindas Landing for anyone looking for somewhere to stay in NS.
