Although Bourton-on-the-Water is crowded and touristy, Meadow Rise is comfortably tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Wendy & Clive are friendly and knowledgeable hosts who gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The room was clean and comfortable, and the full English breakfast was cooked-to-order and delicious. Highly recommend!

What an amazing experience having a long weekend at Meadow Rise. Clive and Wendy were absolutely lovely and so welcoming, genuinely felt at home! Room with a beautiful view, great breakfast and a stones throw from the village centre. Whilst the village was very busy, the guest house area was silent. We will be back again in the fall!

Would recommend Meadow Rise to anybody who is staying in the Cotswolds. Wendy and Clive were tremendously nice and pleasant hosts, we loved getting to chat with them. The rooms were clean and tidy with views of the fields across the street. It is located just off the main part of bourton-on-the-water, so you can always get the peace you want. It is also close enough to the other villages in the Cotswolds that we could easily fit multiple excursions in during the day. 10/10.

We had a wonderful stay at Meadow Rise. Wendy and Clive could not have been any friendlier and nothing was too much trouble. The centre of Bourton on the Water was only about a 5 minute walk. Great location so peaceful and quiet. We had a lovely big bedroom overlooking the garden with nice views. Very clean. Nice breakfast. Parking was available at the guest house. Thank you Wendy and Clive, we will definitely stay again.

Oh, what a lovely couple own this guest house, it's a wonderful accommodation, spotlessly clean, a great location for wandering into the village or exploring the local spots on foot or by car, on top of that you're in a super comfy bed and you get a tasty breakfast... you couldn't ask for more in this wonderfully English village..

Lovely place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely hosts. Great view from the bedroom and breakfast room. Very quiet and only five minutes walk to the village centre. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend a stay here……..

Super comfortable and lovingly kept room. The bed was the perfect firmness. The hosts are wonderful and are great for a chat. Breakfast was also cooked to perfection and catered to pretty much any requirements. Will be visiting again one day

Stayed in room 5 for 4 people, perfect location and lovely hosts, only 2 min walk direct town. Breakfast was tasty and fresh, comfortable room very cosy with window seats to look out at the countryside and sheep, will come again in future. Huge tv in lounge area whilst waiting for transfer home

We stayed for two nights and were very impressed. The Guest House is well-positioned and only five minutes walk from the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water. There is car parking at the Guest House. This is very important as there is little long-term parking nearby. We received a warm welcome from the proprietor. She showed us to our nicely decorated, spacious and very clean room. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and there was a very pleasant view over countryside. The breakfast was cooked to order and also excellent. Thank you!
