Brilliant gem of a hotel. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Cute little bar and room is just what I needed.

Breakfast was cold, room could do with a lick of paint and new curtains, shower was tiny , had to pay £10 to park in their own car park, bed was comfortable, staff we're lovely and helpful.

Tired old hotel in need of an update. Ripped, dirty curtains with holes in. Stained old carpets. Peeling furniture. Uncomfy pillows and very springy bed. Heavy road noise overnight due to old single glazed windows. They have the cheek to charge £8 for parking too and birds from the trees that overhang it crap all over your car. Pay a few quid more and stay in a Premier Inn. Pretty poor.

Unfortunately the room was above the entrance and the main door was so noisy, couldn't sleep at all. As well, othe guests were smoking right at the door and all the smoke came into the room. Was nice and clean but a bad night sleep override it.

Best hotel I've stayed in across the UK. It's not meant to be a 5 star I know but I'm not sure how much more the staff would need to do to get the 5 stars. They've been very decent with me and my Mrs where other hotels would have been looking for reasons to moan and more and they manage to treat us properly whilst keeping all the other guests happy too. Couldn't be happier

Lovely place. Close to the beach.

The single room was above the kitchen. After the range hood was turned on at six in the morning, the water in the water glass by the window began to vibrate. It is recommended that others stay in other rooms. Later, other rooms (as in the photo) were changed and were much quieter.

A very charming and clean hotel. The service was nice and helpful. Great location. Very high price-quality ratio. If you do not require Hilton standard, this hotel will meet your expectations.

The hotel was so clean and smelt lovely. The staff were very welcoming. Expecially Roberto. The breakfast was of high standard. The toilets in the property were very clean. We pulled up to the hotel and already had a parking space reserved for us. Roberto and staff were exceptional. My husband and I would definitely be booking again.

My wife and I spent a considerable amount of time scouring the internet for a hotel in Bournemouth which would tick all of our boxes. We were looking for somewhere that was clean, comfortable, value for money, breakfast included and at the same time be fairly centrally situated. I am pleased to say that we were not disappointed. Breakfast was included in the rate, and on offer was fruit juice, a choice of cereals, fresh fruit which consisted of sliced melon and pineapple, white or brown bread with a selection of preserves. A toaster was on offer for guests who preferred toast. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate was also available. A full English breakfast was included too - orders were taken by the waiter/waitress for this if guest numbers were below 20, if numbers were above 20 then a self service buffet was provided. Hot food on offer included sausages, bacon, fried egg, mushrooms, beans, fried bread, fried tomatoes, and potatoes. Other options such as scrambled egg could be ordered from the waiting staff. Rooms were large, warm and comfortable with a large flat screen tv, and en suite facilities. Room decor was of neutral colours. The property also benefits from a large, relaxing peaceful garden. All the staff that we came into contact with were friendly and helpful, especially Roberto the manager whom we had a pleasant chat with before leaving on our last day. For the best possible rates, more especially if you require a car parking space, I would strongly recommend calling the hotel direct to make a booking. In our honest opinion you will be hard pushed to find anywhere in Bournemouth offering better value for money than The Grove. Seafront, Pier and beach are approximately a ten minute walk. Bus station and Railway station are approximately fifteen to twenty minutes walk. Bus stops are a short walk from the hotel. There is a petrol station across the road from the hotel and the Asda shop offers a selection of snacks, drinks and meal deals. We would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel should we ever venture to Bournemouth again.

This was one of the best hotels i have stayed in super clean and comfortable staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent very hot and plentiful. Only 10 min walk to town centre down a hill but be where you have to walk back up again only downfall will defiantly stay here again and cheap.
