This is a terrific hotel. Designed by the renowned French architect Charlotte Perriand in the late sixties it is a classic example which some may see as dated. It is certainly quirky; take a look at the inclined landings which dispense with the need for stairs. The rooms are apparently original; minimalist but specious and comfortable. Spotlessly clean with a daily maid service. The food in all three restaurants was wonderful. The main buffet restaurant was bight, clean and inviting. The range, choice and quality for food was amazing. There will always be something to suit everyone. Take lunch on the terrace in your ski boots if the sun is out. The bar has comfortable lounge seating and a nightly band or singers. It can be quite busy in there at times making finding a seat and getting served at the bar a bit difficult. The staff were friendly, enthusiastic and attentive if a bit over busy in the bar at times. The boot/ski locker rooms were a bit cramped, and water collected on the floor. They were rather dirty too. On the positive side, from you locker to the snow is a 30m walk. Then a 100m shush down to the first ski lift. The ski in/out makes popping back at lunch time a sensible option to make the most of your “all inclusive” deal. We would definitely book again. We travelled with Crystal.

Last year we rated this hotel as excellent. But this year standards seem to have dropped. No free water bottles at breakfast, no salad, no cooked mushrooms, tomatoes, onions etc. The food options at dinner are also reduced with less veg and fish. The rooms are dated - as before - with no shower, just a bath, but we loved the food so much, we overlooked that issue last year.

Excellent stay in arc 1800. The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay . There is a big selection of food on offer at breakfast , lunch and dinner. As a vegetarian I ate well and really enjoyed the food . There were plenty of options but it would be good if they labelled vegetarian/ vegan / gluten free etc . There were always staff around to ask though. Great bar with all inclusive drinks and live music every night so it was always lively. Rooms have limited storage but ok - could do with a bit of a spruce up but the main areas of the hotel which you spend more time in , are very nice . I would definitely return to this hotel - fantastic value.

What an absolute gem of a hotel. With a large group of 38 it is always an issue finding a hotel that delivers. Well you did. From arrival to departure the entire experience was nothing but positive. The staff, the food, the setvice the friendliness of all staff but particularly at the bar and deck lunchtime restaurant was exceptional. The choice of food didn't disappoint and everyone was happily heavier by a few lbs when we left, the choice of drinks and speciality cocktails with various live bands throughout our stay kept the group entertained, the children's area d was also great for them. Rooms were clean, beds very comfy and service prompt each day. Probably the best sleep in many many years as beds were just right. We travel each year as a large group and the Hotel du Golf you should be proud. You have impressed and delivered, having also stayed in other Belambrias you really are the best. Great location, great staff and amenities. Definitely recommend....

This is the fifth time I have stayed at Hotel du Golf and the recent changes have really improved the experience. The rooms are basic but very comfortable and are always warm enough. Dinner is a buffet but always has plenty of choices of food with complimentary wine. The move to All-Inclusive now includes lunch at the Petit Zinc restaurant and terrace which was amazing in the sun, no need now to spend a fortune in the mountains, very easy to ski back for food and drinks, the atmosphere was great between 1-2:30 each day and the staff were really attentive. These lunches really made the trip! Après-Ski and evenings in the main bar were enjoyable with plenty of drink options, the bar staff were great. The rest of the teams throughout the hotel work really hard and deliver a great service - will definitely come back again.

First time at the hotel and wasn’t sure what to expect with an all inclusive. So to give context, we’ve usually stayed in a chalet or small family run hotels. This is very different and therefore if you perhaps want a cosy more quiet ski holiday, with less hussle and bustle at meal time then It’s perhaps not for you. But, if you’re more relaxed about it and want to be able to know all meals and drinks included, with decent food, location and room then recommend it. We had a good reception experience, and downloaded the app which gave us everything you need. There’s also signage in the hotel regarding booking the two meals in Zinc and Mont Blanc. Rooms are fine, we were in a double room and gave us everything you need. Housekeeping came in everyday, yes didn’t change our towels but that didn’t bother us. Nice view out to the valley and bathed every night so avoided using the handheld shower. Loads of hot water. Space for suitcases above the room door so no cases hanging about. Restaurant is a buffet. Plenty of variety, but just a bit of a free for all. Nice food, though and because it’s a buffet you just eat your meal too quickly ! Great to be able to come back for lunch or make a packed lunch which we did most days. Really good option as we normally do that by stealth ! Cutlery and Crockery could do with being cleaner. Staff work hard to keep the tables clear. We didn’t struggle to get a table, it if you were in a big group it could be more of a struggle. Not sure that allergens are really considered as GF bread was placed next to other bread. Recommend getting to breakfast before 8 as it’s quieter. Great bar and the bands were really enjoyable. Once back to your room, couldn’t hear a thing. No noise whatsoever. Once you get used to the layout, it’s easy. Go in the lift and it tells you which rooms are on which floor. Simple. We did the spa one day. 17E each. Was nice on the muscles, but needs an update as felt a little dirty, but staff were lovely. The staff…bar staff excellent, very quick and friendly. Restaurant staff work hard, and great when you get their attention, sometimes they just aren’t atttentive. It’s likely end of season lethargy, and didn’t spoil our stay. Lockers, great location easily get in three pairs of boots and skis. All in all a great week’s skiing and good practical hotel.

Starting with what seems to be a Belambra issue (also at the Arc 2000 L'Aiguille Rouge) there is a massive cleanliness issue with all cutlery, crockery and glasses being at best described as dirty. Food was pretty good and nicely varied but the buffet was a bit of a free for all. People just barge in when you're waiting. The pizza was amazing. Bar staff were friendly and the selection was good. It was also nice to have snacks (crepes/waffles) available about 4pm when you got back from the slopes. We weren't told how the all inclusive works at check-in so wasn't until we spoke to our tour rep that we found out we could visit the Mont Blanc (fondue and raclette) and Petit Zinc restaurants once per week(trip?). The fondue was lovely, but Petit Zinc was excellent, and I believe actually had clean cutlery! The hotel has a bit of an odd layout and we ended up heading to the 6xx level on the lift only to walk back down 4 floors and find our room was 20m from the reception! It was great being so close to the bottom of the lifts and able to nip back for lunch/drinks without feeling you lose too much time. The room was fine but felt very cramped as there was; - no space to really hang up snowboard clothing, - no space to store suitcases so they were just in the way - the bathroom was pretty good though, especially compared to their hotel in Arc2000 The ski lockers would be fine for skis, but it wasn't really big enough for two snowboards, and 100% not with boots in as well. Luckily it seemed to only be ski boots not allowed in the hotel so we kept taking the soft boots to the hotel room which was more practical but did take up even more space.

Fantastic hotel with the best location for the piste . Excellent quality and choice of food - plentiful and well presented and drink on all inclusive package perfect . Rooms are basic but with everything you need including a fridge and safe . They are kept spotlessly clean and new towels available on request . Beds and pillows comfortable and room quiet with view over valley . Not too warm either! Value for money amazing !
