Situated just above the main Arc 1800 resort, a true ski in ski out accommodation. Reception - Very friendly and fluent in English. We arrived about 1pm but check in was 5pm(although we did get in slightly earlier!) This was fine as gave us time to have some lunch, do a food shop and get our boots/ski’s fitted. There is a SkiSet hire shop on the complex. TIP : booking direct with them is a lot cheaper than booking through Crystal!! Arriving early meant leaving our luggage in their unlocked conference room, which wasn’t an issue for us but may unsettle some. A dedicated locked room would be more advisable. As some have mentioned they take a €500 deposit on arrival which is very high and the expectation is that you to leave the kitchen clean and tidy and the used towels and linen in the bath upon departure, so if this done is isn’t an issue. Room - 2 bed, 2 bath apartment in ‘Les Monaques’ wing. Modern decor and clean on arrival. Relatively spacious for a family of 5, never felt on top of each other. plenty of storage. Well appointed kitchen with all cooking/eating equipment incl. Kettle/Coffee Maker/Toaster although no proper oven but instead a combi oven/microwave which was adequate enough for the meals we prepared. Plenty of towels, linen and complimentary shower gel/shampoo plus a kitchen starter kit with dishwasher tabs, tea towel, small sachet of washing up liquid and sponge. We took a lot of this stuff with us as cheaper than buying full size in resort(most of which probably wouldn’t have been used)…..although you will prob need to buy extra loo roll ! All rooms have thermostat heaters which served us well for damp gloves & salopettes. Pool - Amazing! Lovely after a day on the slopes. Heated to a nice warm temperature and even has an outside area which you can swim into which is fab if it’s snowing. We used towels from the room but believe you can hire(or take your own) Jacuzzi, wet and dry steam rooms free of charge. Take a euro coin for the lockers!! Boot Room - On ground floor. Large lockers and all heated, so much so we couldn’t wait to get out as it got stifling after fighting to get our boots on 🤣 Then out 3 doors and youre literally on the piste, from which you can ski 10 seconds to chairlift or take the Dahu cable car directly outside the hotel down into the main Arc 1800 resort where ski school starts. The Dahu closes at 11pm….dont miss it as we did to our cost, it’s a long trudge up the hill back to EdenArc. Food - Did a mixture of eating out in Arc 1800 or self catering, however there is a restaurant on the complex(Voga Goga) where we ordered takeaway pizzas on our last night which were very tasty and cost a reasonable €15 each. Can’t recommend this resort highly enough and would definitely return.
