Our first time in an HI in France, this was a good experience and much better than some of the reviews that we found! Clean. Decent. Safe and VERY HELPFUL staff. This compares very well to some of the bigger hostels that are (used to be!) in the UK. Location perfect for the station and 15 minutes walk to the centre. It's a Youth Hostel guys and not a HOTEL!!!! Remember that and you'll not be surprised.

Good made friends I stayed with sick and was so horrible that it made me nearly be sick over the table on multiple ocassions rooms were shocking and there was mould all over with facility’s being unclean and damaged. I would never stay here again even if I was offered to for free.

The hotel overall was pretty basic but it definitely got the job done . In the rooms there was beds, a shelf , a window, a bin , a toilet and a shower. The food was ok nothing too special but still fine to eat. Overall if your just looking for a place to stay the night then this works but anything more this isn’t great for.

My daughter visited. She has asked me to leave a review. She described yellowing polyurethane foam mattresses made of bare foam with no cover. They were provided with sheets to make their beds but the sheets were not large enough to cover the foam, so bare foam was visible. She said that the foam smelt. There was a broken window (stained glass) at the front entrance. The outside looks very shabby with dark stains running down the painted walls. She said it wasn't possible to open the curtains properly in their room. Some of the lamps in the room were not working. She said none of their party liked the food. On the positive side, she liked the layout of some of the rooms. It is conveniently close to the train station but there was no trouble with train noise. I have left out a lot of the negative stuff that she said, but she really didn't like the vibe of the whole place and definitely wouldn't want to stay there again.
