The rooms were good for the price, the only thing that angered me was that I told the service girl twice in the morning in Chinese " no cleaning, very good".
She replied " thanks, no cleaning " in Chinese.
When I returned in the evening, I found all my personal belongings were moved for cleaning.
I do not like people touching my personal belongings after they have handled garbage and cleaned the toilet.

Hotel offers airport/train pickup. But my request to pickup via Trip.com was overlooked. However, the staff services were great and helpful. They offered drop off at the Laos border customs on checkout and call forward to my next destination hotel.
There is a serious issue that the management needs to look into. My room had strong cigarette smell and when I asked for nonsmoking room, I was told there is non available! I had a serious headache caused by the cigarette smoke smell despite I opened the window through out the night!

The hotel is clean and beautiful. There is hot water at ordinary times, but there is no hot water for showering later. It is a little far from the outside. The moating is not big, but it is OK. Others are good.

I stayed here for one night on my way from Laos to China.
It's about an 8-minute walk to the Laos border.
There are shops and markets nearby, so you won't have any trouble finding food.
Freshly made noodles are provided for breakfast. There is also a free shuttle to the Laos-China railway station.
