We had a great stay and the staff were very attentive and helpful. Gorgeous Gecko is really great value for money. We will certainly stay again.

Very tired premises. Needs TLC. I would rate it as backpackers accommodation. For R750 per room I expect my own bathroom with shower. Not a shared bathroom with no shower.

We had a shower problem. The water was cold. We were directed to shower in a bath. This my wife could not do. We then were directed to another room. This shower was also cold. The rest of the stay was excellent and the rooms neat.

Outside was not clean, I almost turned back thinking it's an abandoned place. Inside the house was clean clean though. The owner was friendly and welcoming, I recommend it. Would absolutely book again.

Gorgeous Gecko Gastehuis is one of the Best guesthouses I've ever been to. It's very beautiful and tranquil environment makes it a safe and hostile place, a place to relax and get your batteries recharge. It is extremely neat and clean with beautiful interior. The extra braai area and swimming pool was a bonus to me. The staff are always friendly and nothing too big or small stands in their way to make your stay unforgettable. What I enjoy mostly was the delicious food, breakfast like fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bacon and eggs! Dinner is home cooked meal with a personal touch. This place is the total package! Free unlimited WIFI is always a Big plus and TV'S with lots of channels... Wow! I will recommend Gorgeous Gecko Guesthouse to everyone. This is truely value for money. Thanks so much to Ursula, Sonnika and her team.
