Hollow Tree's Resort

The room is comfortable and the whole structure of the resort is welcoming. All the staff are sensational and attentive. The restaurant menu is varied and the food is top quality. Hollow Tree's Resort is a place to go to surf either alone or with familly.

Absolutely gorgeous resort! We stayed in a private ocean front facing room and it was absolutely lovely. Great aircon, comfy bed, large bathroom with a gorgeous view from the top! The food is incredible and the staff are attentive and so friendly. Emma and Liam are extremely good at their manager roles and ensure anything you need is taken care of. As a beginner surfer (my husband intermediate) there is a lot to do if you don't want to surf. Paddle boards, kayaking and snorkelling right in front of the resort off the beach. Love that you can take the scooters whenever you want! For me the attention to detail was amazing, water bottles in the bathroom, beach towels, shower gel and shampoo. Also the water bottle dispenser in the hallway. Also the personalised water bottles and branded bag were a treat! Highly recommend this resort and it is worth every last penny!

My family and I had the best Christmas at Hollow Tree's resort this past December. The location is stunning, the hotel has all the amenities you could ask for, the food was delicious (all day refined / healthy dining), Lance's right is just a magical wave and the hotel crew is simply amazing. I can only highly recommend this property to both couples and families! We will be back! Frantz

We had amazing time in Hollow Tree during our 1 week holiday. The resort is beautiful and perfect for those people who like quiet places. The rooms are nice and clean, the bed is super comfortable! The food is AMAZING, the chef is incredibly talented and we had so many choices every day. The staff is very nice and kind! There is a main surf spot in front of the resort but for those who do not surf, the front beach and ocean is calm and perfect for the swimming. The island itself is a true paradise if you like a wild nature. Yes, it is a bit complicated to get there but once you arrive, it is worth of all efforts. We absolutely recommend the resort!

I had a great week with my brothers. You can easily see the best waves of your life. Transportation from the airport in Padang to the hotel and from the hotel to the ship,The assistance in guiding you to the ship will also make you feel comfortable. The rooms at Hollow Tree's Resort are always clean and the air conditioning works comfortably,and bathrooms are always clean. The restaurant offers a wide variety of choices for breakfast and dinner, The locally harvested grills, such as mahi-mahi and tuna, are very tasty, The vegetables and fruits are all fresh and will amaze you. The waves, the rooms, and the food are all wonderful, though, But the best moments for me was the kindness of the staff. They are friendly and talk to you when you pass by them, I was impressed by the smiles on the faces of all the staff at all times. They also gave us detailed information about the best surf spots and times for the day's conditions, and even offered to take us to the spots by all-terrain vehicle or by boat. My first trip to Mentawai was great experience. I will definitely return to Hollow Tree's Resort as soon as possible.
