"The room is very nice and the location is very convenient. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The hotel can also receive express delivery and there is a public laundry area, but you have to pay with coins to operate it."
"The room is smaller than I expected, but overall it’s clean. Just spend one night here as the flight is in early morning and it’s very close to the airport. The receptionist is not very polite. They should know how to treat guests who stay here"
"The owners were kind and professional. I did find a hair on my sheet from a head that certainly wasn't mine, which isn't that big of a deal but did ick me out a little. I had prepaid for a room with a shared bathroom for the floor and when I arrived, I was offered a room with a private bath for an extra fee. I didn't want to spend the extra money, but it would've been nice if they had offered it free seeing as it was empty anyway."
"Breakfast is average, relatively simple, there should be a triple room, the hotel should be in the Harvard courtyard, only three or four minutes to the teaching building, the room is relatively small, but very comfortable, there is parking, free."
"I left my necklace that means a lot to me in the bathroom before checking out, the hotel housekeeper would definitely see it but obviously took it. I rushed back to hotel front desk to hoping that I would get it back but nope , very disappointing and heartbroken cos the necklace means so much to me regardless its money value( Tiffany ) ."
"Pros:
New Yorker first time driving to Boston, so i need a hotel that provide parking. This hotel provide free and pretty safe parking in their basement which is excellent for interstate driving travelers.
Beside free parking, this hotel also great for sightseeing Boston via public transportation. There is a bus stop right across the street. Bus 77 will go straight to the Red Line Harvard Station. You can transfer to Red Line and go straight to the city. Or you can transfer to Bus 1, which will take you to nearby Boston University and Newbury St. From Newbury St stop, you can transfer to the Green Line at Hynes Convention Center Station. There are a lot of attractions right on the Green Line for you to explore.
When you are done with your travel, u can take Red Line or Bus 1 back to Harvard Station, then transfer 77 and it will take you back right next to the hotel.
This hotel also provide free breakfast in my booking. The breakfast is nice but will be better if it can last to 10am during the weekdays. (6-9weekdays, 7-10 weekends)
The room is not bad, pretty big with table, kitchen, refrigerator, sofa, two tvs and a bed. The room I have is pretty clean and I do not have much to complain. The hotel staffs are nice too.
Cons: The mattress is not too hard or soft and is comfortable for me. However, it is little too noisy when you try to move or turn.
The bathtub is slippery when you step in it, especially where there’s water in it. I have to grab the pole tight every time. The hotel need to address this issue for safety."
"We had a great stay at [Hotel Name]! It’s a no-frills experience, but everything was clean, comfortable, and well-run. Check-in is strictly at 4 PM—no early check-ins, which is good to know in advance. Housekeeping isn’t automatic, but you can request fresh towels or room cleaning as needed, which wasn’t an issue for us.
The only real downside was the breakfast—it was pretty minimal on the first day (just toast and oatmeal), but it was much better the next day with a good selection of pastries.
One of the best perks is the location—it’s right at a subway stop, making getting around town seamless. If you’re looking for a simple, well-kept place to stay without unnecessary extras, this is a solid choice!"
"The location is great, there are many restaurants and cafes around. There is also a supermarket. The room is in the middle distance. The breakfast is rich in varieties, and there are also takeaway boxes/coffee cups for guests who are in a hurry to take away"
"The room was average, not bad but no surprises; the flight arrived at 10pm, so I had to call the hotel after picking up my luggage at the airport to arrange for the hotel shuttle to pick me up, but the shuttle came quite quickly. It was late at night when I arrived at the hotel, and the check-in staff at the front desk were doing other irrelevant things slowly, not considering the guests' eagerness to check in and rest, and made me wait for ten minutes before going through the formalities. The airport free shuttle driver was ok, helped with the luggage, and of course I gave him a tip. There were not many options for the buffet breakfast, which was incomparable to some high-end hotels in Asia. It seems that most bathrooms in American hotels have bathtubs + shower curtains, and shower rooms are rarely seen. The main reason is that the hotel is really not cheap, maybe because it is the peak season. At this price, you can stay in Shangri-La in major cities in China."

Great
GGIULIANOWe spent a long weekend at this hotel. First, a free local shuttle express bus takes you from Logan Airport to Back Bay Station, which is just a four-minute walk from the hotel entrance. Check-in was smooth, friendly and efficient, and we were given our requested room.
Our room was spacious and well-equipped, with a fantastic view over Boston Bay. It had a spacious seating area, a large flat-screen TV, a full size in-room fridge, a spacious rain shower, and ice stations on each floor. The bed and bedding were of high quality, and there was a selection of pillows to choose from.
One of the most impressive features of this hotel is the in-room security safe, which is rare in many US hotels. There are also excellent food and beverage facilities on-site, and an extensive room service menu. The housekeeping was of a high standard, and complimentary water was provided each day.
If you haven’t already, I highly recommend signing up for the Marriott Bonvoy awards programme in advance of your stay. This will give you free WiFi for your entire stay.
The hotel is located in downtown Boston, with easy access to Back Bay and Copley Square metros, the Boston Public Library, Prudential Centre, and many other facilities such as supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great
MMarinAmazing hotel downtown, offering cozy and comfortable rooms, a modern ambiance, and a cool bar to socialize. If you come by car, the best parking option is Tufts garage located just behind the hotel (daily parking rate was $45 as of 2025). The hotel is highly recommended.

GGuest UserThis was my second time staying at The Revolution Hotel, and I absolutely love it. The location is excellent, the place is spotless, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They have a great restaurant, a cozy café, and a really fun bar with dancing—it’s such a great vibe overall.
Even though the bathrooms are outside the room, they’re individual and completely private. They also provide robes, and the cleanliness is top-notch—the cleaning crew is always on it.
And the best part? They’re dog-friendly!
Highly recommend it.

에에이미맘The room assigned to me upon arrival was not cleaned, so I had to wait to be assigned another room, which was inconvenient, and the fact that the cleaning was not done thoroughly was unfortunate.
I would have been upset if I had thought it would be as hygienic as Korea.
They cleaned the room every day, but they didn't change the blankets.
They just re-set them.
So there were hairs and cookie crumbs in the blankets. 🥲
I didn't want them to fight, so I cleaned them up~^^

CCheungWe have booked 2 rooms to attend our daughter’s graduation. Had a wonderful stay at your hotel. Was particularly impressed with housekeeping staff. Everyday we come back from a well cleaned room. There was one day when we were still in when the housekeeping staff came around and we told her to come back 2 hours later to do the cleaning and she did. Super efficient! Other staff from other departments that we come in contact with - the reception, the concierge were all very attentive and friendly making our stay truly enjoyable.

Very Good
GGuest UserFirst off, the location is excellent. It's less than a 5-minute walk to the subway, with direct lines to South Station, Harvard, and MIT. The Star Market supermarket, just an 8-minute walk away, is huge and has delicious fruit. You can even buy fresh lobsters there – two large ones for just over $20 – and they'll steam them for you to take home. Behind the hotel, there's a beach, perfect for watching the sunset and enjoying a relaxing sea breeze.
Secondly, the service is also excellent. It offers a warm, personal touch, quite like hotels back home. They provide complimentary airport pickup, fresh chocolate chip cookies are provided daily, and refreshing lemonade is always available. Housekeeping is also daily; compared to the last hotel I stayed at near Niagara Falls, where they only cleaned every three days, the service here is far superior!
While it's a little far from downtown, a taxi ride is only around $10-$15, so I still feel it offers good value for money.
MMatthew PapinoThe hotel room's thermostat was set at 68 degrees F when we entered but we found it to be quite warm, so we turned the thermostat down to 65 degrees, then further to 62 degrees because the room was still quite stifling. Around 2:00 a.m., uncomfortable and sweating while trying to sleep, we called the front desk and told them that we had lowered the thermostat to 60 degrees F but that the heat was just as warm as when we first entered the room (there was no way to measure it but I'm guessing it was close to 80 degrees). The front desk told us that the thermostat only controls the heat; that is, lowering the temperature will not actually cool the room or turn the heat off. They told us that the only way to stop the heat was to turn it OFF. We were also advised to open a window, which we did; but the noise from the city outside did not help us get a good night's sleep at all, and the room took a while to cool down enough to be able to sleep comfortably. This one issue---the extremely warm and uncomfortable room---is enough to make us not return to this hotel in the future.
11381089****The hotel's location is excellent! It's very close to Amtrak's Boston South Station, a walkable 16-minute distance if you don't have much luggage. The hotel is situated right next to and across from a large hospital. The subway station is just 50 meters to your left when you exit the hotel. Just a bit further past that is Chinatown, and Boston Common is about a ten-minute walk away.
Despite being in a bustling area, the hotel is remarkably quiet at night, which is a rare find.
There was no complimentary bottled water in the room, and when I asked the front desk, they couldn't provide any. Disposable toiletries were also missing. The 'breakfast included' option turned out to be an $18 breakfast credit. If you choose just one breakfast item and one coffee, with taxes, you've already exceeded the credit. The allowance wasn't quite enough, but the food itself tasted good.

GGuest UserLocated right in seaport, newish neighborhood walking distance from lots of major points in the city, harbor, north end, etc. Front desk was kind and welcoming. Room was clean and modern, fun lights to control the colors. I booked a corner queen so it was a tad bigger but as expected these are micro hotel rooms so much smaller than average, no fridge or microwave in room. The bed for sure did not feel like a queen size however. They definitely need some type of shelving in the showers if you use your own toiletries, absolutely nowhere to place them. Also the shower door leaks terribly, although the floor to the bathroom area is completely water proof, it still made a mess. The bathroom and bed areas are just separated by a curtain, and the wall to the shower and toilet is just a clear glass panel.
CChelsea inThe hotel was fine, it is in a great location and has everything you need but nothing special.
The bathroom wasn’t 100% clean and the room could do with some updated finishes
