Stayed here couple of times. Its always great to choose double tree. The cookie they give is such cherry on top, there’s no drinking water tho thats a downside.

Thank you to the hotel for upgrading our room. We originally booked a general suite, but it was upgraded to a two-bedroom suite of more than 300 square meters. It was very spacious, with beautiful views and new decoration. Food delivery service is also very good. It gave us a wonderful start in the United States. Thank you to the hotel staff!

Very satisfied. The hotel is quite new. The wall bed room with river view is very practical for a family. The shuttle bus can go to the main attractions, which is very convenient! There is a laundry room for self-service laundry! All in all, I am very satisfied and will definitely choose this place again when I come to Boston in the future!

Did I spend roughly $50 (pre-tax & tip) on a lobster roll and a glass of prosecco? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes. I'm going to touch on other aspects of my stay, but I can't believe how many fresh tasting, big, succulent chunks of lobster were in this hotel lounge lobster roll. It's cold & mayo based, which I know isn't for everyone (I see you got buttered lobster roll people and I understand completely; I'm just an equal opportunist when it comes to lobster rolls), but it was really good - like, not good for a hotel lounge, but good good. Yum! Ok, so why 4 stars? If it were based on the hospitality of the staff alone, I'd give it 6. Every staff member I encountered was genuinely affable - some were more outgoing than others, sure, but I appreciate mellow kindness. Also, this might be the first time I've remembered to pack all of my extra little charging stations, and I didn't even need them. So many conveniently placed outlets and USB ports - and the main room light was warm toned and welcoming, which is also a little treat :) I had to take away a star because of the general noise. My sleep wasn't disturbed, because I always travel with hardcore ear plugs and a sleep mask, but I couldn't close the curtains all the way (even with the pants hanger clip trick) so there was light coming in, and I could hear everything in the hall. Also plumbing noises (like pipes pinging and gurgling - nothing alarming, just...mildly intrusive). I was also disappointed that there wasn't a laundry bag or dry cleaning service like there are in the other Marriotts I've stayed in; I want to call myself out on not going to the front desk to ask specifically for this, but every other Marriott I've been in has a laundry bag with a dry cleaning order form in the closet. There also weren't any extra blankets in the closet; again, I didn't ask the front for one (and I'm sure they would have given one to me) but I wish there had been one in the room as it was super comfortable until I woke up at 2 am - which is really late and inconvenient to realize you need extra blankets. Ok, so that's why I took away a star. The other 4 are for the friendly staff, incredibly convenient location (anywhere I didn't walk, I took a Bluebike from the stand right outside), gorgeous fitness center (Pelotons?! What?!), and general cleanliness. If I come back to Boston/Cambridge for work, I'm 100% staying here. (If I come for pleasure, I'd probably try a quaint inn or something, but honestly I'd likely stay here the final night of my trip because it is also FIFTEEN MINUTES from the airport. But with a great river view, and no plane noises.) More on the location: walk to the river, and across the Harvard bridge. You're literally right there, and it's a great way to see the city (and while there's a CVS across the street, the one over the bridge is in a historic building. Very good hotel, good location, more than 20 minutes from MIT and Harvard University, room facilities are good, but also cooking. Pots and pans are complete, dishwasher is also very good, large refrigerator Very real, free parking, great, staying here next time.

Room was quiet, well-sized and well decorated. Can’t beat the location if you need to be in Harvard Square. Restaurants and bars in the hotel are nice, Staff are friendly, Housekeeping is good, Downsides: mattress was completely worn out and I could only sleep on one side of the bed. Also they checked another guest into my room, which I discovered when she unlocked the door and walked in at 11 pm (to her surprise). For a super-premium hotel, both of these were unacceptable. Next time I will just save $200-$400 per night and stay at the many two-star hotels in the area.

August 2022. Stayed in a 6 bed female dorm with shared bathroom. The hostel felt very safe with key card entry. All the staff were extremely nice. Kitchen services were great and meant we didn’t have to eat out and could save money. We also washed out clothes for free with the app and you can buy detergent there which is convenient! Showers and bathrooms were great; sometimes a few hairs here and there to be expected in shared bathroom but never ran out of toilet paper or anything like that. The lockers in the room were great the ability to lock away your stuff felt very safe. Especially as young female travellers we were happy here. 10/10 recommend

Oct2022: 3⭐: I selected this hotel as a result of needing a place close to the house with easy access to the airport. I selected this hotel through the Bonvoy app based on it fitting the criteria I desired. I wasn't able to get to the hotel until the afternoon hours about 1700. I picked up my spouse from the airport and we decided to get her checked in at the hotel on the way to the hospital down the toll road. I noted that the hotel was difficult to enter and it took a bit of concentration to locate the front entrance of the hotel as it sits over top of the tollway 90. There were two handicapped parking areas available at the check in lot. There is a pay parking garage attached to the hotel and adjacent to the front entrance into the hotel. The parking garage has more handicapped parking areas available and regular parking as well. The areas are not good for large trucks or RVs. The entrance was located and I parked and we went into the hotel. We walked to the front desk and a female worker didn't greet us, didn't say hello, nor did she say welcome to the hotel. The worker said ”give me your id”. My wife was standing there to my side and I looked to see if there was someone else there we had stepped in front of or cut in line. There was no one there but us. My wife said what did she say? Is this the check in desk? I commented that this is the check in window, right? What happened to the smile, good afternoon, welcome to Sheraton, or just hello. DEMANDING my identification upon entering the building was definitely not appropriate. Having a bad day isn't MY fault. I have a choice to choose this location, not the other way around. We finished the check in at the desk, paid for parking, and we went to the room. We dropped off the bags and found that the bathroom door sags and does not properly close as it's hitting the bottom of the frame. One of the window blinds wasn't properly functional. The noise canceling device and the traffic was something to tolerate. Some vehicle drivers passing under the hotel on the tollway, enjoyed throttling the engine. This added noise to an already bad situation. Decent area food spots are walking distance from the hotel.

The view outside the room is good, very close to Berkeley, and very safe. The air conditioning in the room is also very good, very quiet, and the room is large. I will stay here again next time. A successful booking.
