Quayside Hotel & Bar

Very welcoming staff and great food. Room large but noise from the room above (squeaky floorboards). Large car park to the side and within walking distance of the town. Tea and coffee facilities in the room but the kettle was difficult to fill from the small sink tap. Lovely and clean throughout.

Firstly many thanks to Nathan and your team. I was staying on business on the 30.01.25. Lovely hotel, very cozy, amazing staff and my room no 15 was excellent. The food, I wish all hotels had such a fantastic menu and took as much pride in what they serve? Everything I saw being served looked excellent. I chose a very simple but delicious sausage & mash, perfect comfort food for me after a long day in the cold and a long drive and for only £12! The restaurant was busy with I guess locals so would advise booking a table as they clearly know where to go. Excellent, faultless, thank you. Couldn't be any better and it's 10/10 from me!

Just had our second Sunday carvery here. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The quality of the food was excellent. Such a wide choice of home cooked Vegetables. Probably the best carvery around Boston at the moment. Nice surroundings and a reasonable price.

Thank you to Nathan and the team for a fabulous 70th birthday party in The Cove last night 16 November. The guests who stayed overnight were impressed with the care and attention from all departments. They were exceptionally impressed by the restaurant and the quality of the food. All round it couldn’t have been better. Totally recommended.

Had Sunday carvery and it was fantastic, great selection of meats and the veg was perfectly cooked with crispy roasts and fluffy yorkies. Drinks selection was great too with my favourite, Hawkstone beer. Looking forward to returning very soon..

Met by a lovely lady who was extremely helpful and attentive and although advising the restaurant was fully booked said she would fit us in, which she did and very glad we were. The food was lovely and well priced. We had the deluxe double room which was huge with a lovely bathroom. Would benefit from a couple of comfy chairs as the bar and restaurant are not open on Sundays (not advertised or stated when booking) so the seating areas are not accessible to hotel guests. On a bad weather day your only option is to sit on the bed or at the desk which has no powerpoints. Breakfast is included, but is just a very very basic Continental offering, no hot options. Real shame as after an excellent dinner in the restaurant on Saturday night we had high hopes. All the staff were top notch though and cannot be faulted just a few minor points that people need to be aware of when booking.
