Bojo Beach Resort

We stayed here twice—once in October 2024 and again months later after being offered a complimentary stay due to power outages and a dusty, unprepared room during our first visit. Unfortunately, the second experience was just as disappointing. Despite confirming the stay in advance, the staff had no record of it. We were interrogated at check-in, asked to provide proof and the name of the staff member who made the offer—even though the hotel’s communication is unsigned and staff wear no name tags. When we showed proof of our complimentary stay, the staff still did not check-us in right away and instead bickered back and forth about the person who could have granted us the stay. Eventually, we were given a room, but not before prolonged confusion and highly unprofessional behavior from staff. The issues didn’t stop there: we had to ask for basic things like wristbands for free beach access, and the WiFi password because staff forgot to give us at check-in. In the evening, a different staff member was at the front desk and when we inquired about something, she also began to interrogate us and ask for details about our complimentary stay which had already been provided hours earlier. We were never provided a welcome drink that came with our booking. The room itself was in poor condition. While there was working electricity this time, there was no functioning A/C, no hot water, the door bolt was broken, and there was an overpowering smell of camphor. In all my years of travel, this is easily the worst hotel experience. Bojo Beach Resort is disorganized, poorly maintained, and far from the "luxury" it claims to offer. It is an overpriced, frustrating experience I would not recommend to anyone. Do not stay here if you value your time or money.

I recently visited Bojo Beach Resort and had an uncomfortable experience with the adult receptionist at the front desk. While I understand that age shouldn't be a barrier to employment, I couldn't help but feel uneasy with the receptionist's deep and loud voice. It's worth noting that I visited the resort during the festive season, and the receptionist I met during that time was actually a different person from the adult receptionist I met on my most recent visit. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, but as a guest, I want to feel welcomed and comfortable in my surroundings. Unfortunately, the receptionist's demeanor made me feel otherwise. I believe that a more youthful and energetic approach to customer service would be more suitable for a resort like Bojo Beach. I also couldn't help but notice that the receptionist was (apologies for the comment) significantly overweight. While I understand that everyone deserves respect and kindness, I believe that a receptionist's physical appearance can impact the overall ambiance of a resort. I'm not suggesting that weight should be a factor in hiring, but rather that a more considerate approach to staffing could enhance the guest experience. I'm concerned that I might not be the only guest who felt uncomfortable with the receptionist's demeanor, but I'm possibly the only one who has spoken up about it. I hope that my feedback will encourage others to share their experiences and help the resort to improve. To be honest, I didn't want to bring this up, but my partner and I plan to visit the Resort again in the future. We loved the resort's amenities and location, but we want to ensure that our next visit is even better. That's why I'm speaking up and sharing my feedback. I want the resort to know that we care about our experience and want to see improvements.

We had a great time. The beach was great and cool. We had a great lunch there at the beach. The locals were net fishing and my wife helped pull in the nets. Our experience there was great . The customer service was excellent at the hotel, the rooms were spacious and the balcony was large as well. I would recommend my family and friends to come. Thanks for the great hospitality.

Visited this place based on social media pictures but was disappointed to fine the facilities in a bad shape. Welcome drink was nice and first room we were checked into had a musty smell. Room was changed us but place seemed dead. Swimming pool was dirty. Only positives were the food and beach side. You have to get to the beach side via canoe though which they don't tell you.

We stopped here for lunch on the beach with local food options available. Service was incredibly slow almost to the point where we had to leave to go back to our hotel in Accra. It was great to sit and enjoy the view though and watch the local fishermen bring in their catches of the day.
