Highly recommended! Refuge located in a truly panoramic place, a truly suggestive view. Spacious, clean, comfortable room, equipped with everything you need, even a kettle with tea and herbal teas. Good breakfast, especially the homemade strudel and tart. Typical cuisine: tagliatelle with venison ragù, canederli, melted cheese, salami, mushrooms. All very good! The owner very kind and friendly. Having used a Smartbox we were nothing short of satisfied!

"A place you miss" My partner and I stayed at this facility, Rifugio Pranolz, on the last weekend of August. Before writing this review, I wanted to take some time, with the intention of judging it with a cool head, so as not to run the risk of my judgment being influenced by the joy of the experience we just had. I must say that after almost two weeks, it is a place we continue to miss deeply. We are a couple from Puglia and we are not used to the mountains. However, we have always dreamed of spending time in total relaxation in one of those facilities that we believe only exist in the movies: a cabin immersed in greenery, surrounded by mountains and completely free from the noise of the city. In fact, Rifugio Pranolz comes very close to this description, because we found everything that makes us sigh in front of the television, when we watch a film or a TV series set in a mountain location. Our room, the Campanellino, completely restored, was welcoming and comfortable, with a view of the Belluno Dolomites so beautiful that it made us smile when we woke up. The refuge's cuisine, typical of the area, was a treat that we wanted to indulge in for each meal of the two nights we stayed in the facility: generous portions and prices in line with the general demand of the place (plate of pastin with polenta 9 euros, medium beer 6.5 euros, cover charge 2.5 euros with a priceless atmosphere included in the price, tagliatelle with venison sauce 12 euros, sparkling water (I think 1 liter) 3.5 euros, maybe a little too much, but we know that there is a higher markup on drinks. Furthermore, the prices are all displayed on the menu, so you pay for what you choose. The buffet breakfast, for a cost of 10 euros per person, is slightly limited in choice, but complete with everything you need to start the day well (don't expect the international breakfast of a large hotel). Before choosing it, we took a look at the reviews and some comments had prepared us for the worst. In reality, a lot depends on the period: if you go to certain places, in high season, the wait and the noise must be taken into account. Late August/early September is a great time based on our experience. We feel we were lucky not to have encountered the inconveniences mentioned by other travelers. But, after all, every experience is different, just like the people who live it... Would we go back? Absolutely. Will we go back? Absolutely, because it was truly like being at home, but surrounded by mountains. Let our photos guide you.

Spectacular place with panoramic view of the Dolomites...typical and excellent cuisine...basic, welcoming and clean rooms...enchanting reading corner...with a cat that reflects the relaxing atmosphere...the only thing to be careful of for those who use a smartbox is to first make sure that the restaurant is open, otherwise if there are dinners included they are lost

Truly a great surprise: comfortable, relaxing room, with tea and kettle in the room, rustic wooden furniture, relaxation area with fireplace and a soft bench with panoramic view, excellent typical local cuisine and a homemade tart that closes a relaxing stay beyond expectations. The warm, friendly and cordial welcome made us feel as if we were at a friend's house. Highly recommended.

The refuge as in dreams. Warm, welcoming, rooms with a fabulous view, amazing dinner, strudel that cannot be explained for its goodness. In my opinion the added value to this magnificent place is to be attributed, in addition to the splendid kitten that welcomes you eager to cuddle and that makes your photos more magical, to the kindness, the availability, and the uniqueness of the staff. I highly recommend Rifugio Pranolz and I will definitely return.

The structure is welcoming and recently renovated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The spa is a little small but well kept and if there are few people it is perfect, plus there is an outdoor hydromassage with a wonderful view. The food is also good! The rooms are basic but clean.

We had dinner and spent only one night, we were welcomed and the renovated environment is very welcoming. The pasta e fagioli, soup of the day, was special. The relaxation corner with sofa and fireplace where you can stop before the night is also nice. Positive experience

We were fascinated by the place that we did not know, but above all by the availability and kindness of the owner Alessandra. Despite the red alert in Veneto in those days we managed to carry out all our excursions and planned visits including an outing to Brent del Art.
