We stayed in a suite for two nights in October which cost $445 USD which was very expensive compared to other inns/hotels in Tuscany. The main drawback is the extremely steep locked and gated driveway. Our room had a smell of dirty feet and was stuffy. I am certain it had not been mopped very well. There were no real windows except doorways so no way to ventilate. Our towels were ragged. Breakfast was $22-25 per person and we didn't have it because of the high cost. Their communication was non responsive via email and I do not know if they spoke English. I do not understand all the positive reviews and am certain they had this site "cleaned" of bad reviews. I do not recommend this inn.

Magical place with lovely atmosphere, and wonderful hosts! The room was exactly as you could wish for, with a nice terrasse so the sunrise could be enjoyed! The personal and wonderful service from the host made the stay absolutely magical. The breakfast was also absolutely top class with all kind of delicious options! This place cannot be described, it must be experienced!

This hotel was absolutely wonderful. The views are amazing. The service top notch and the food very yummy. The rooms were very clean and the staff is very friendly. I wish we could have stayed longer. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view.

Beautiful place and nicely renovated house in the hills near Buggiano. The location is also great for cycling and there are nice trails for running nearby. The view ist outstanding. The breakfast is great and has A LOT of options, everything is tasty. I also recommend the Tuscan dinner on Thursdays. The hosts are really nice and very pleasant. They care about their guests and speak English very well as well as perfect German. I highly recommend this place, we plan to come again.

Seit fast 20 Jahren kommen wir jährlich nach La Piana – für uns ist es „unsere zweite Heimat“ geworden. Luciano und Iryna sind einfach super: ihre Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit gepaart mit dem wunderschönen Anwesen schaffen es, eine familiäre Atmosphäre zu gestalten. Auch alle im Personal sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das hohe Niveau hat sich stetig gesteigert. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und Pasta-Abend oder Toskanischer Abend sind immer sehr gelungene Abende. Unseren nächsten Aufenthalt haben wir schon gebucht und freuen uns schon sehr, wieder zurückzukehren 😊

Immer wieder top; bei jedem Aufenthalt immer wieder sehr freundlicher und bester Service. Der Pizza Abend, sowie der toskanische Abend toll gestaltet und mega lecker. Unsere Suite mit großer Terrasse ist unschlagbar. Jederzeit wieder!
