It's located right next to the tourist information center, so it's in a great location. It's also close to a tram station, so it's very convenient for sightseeing.
The exterior was modest, but I was excited by the French-style staircase and rooms.
There is an elevator, but you have to climb about three flights of stairs to get to some places.
The hotel staff were polite and they also stored my luggage for free. The breakfast buffet was also delicious.
The facilities were clean and wonderful, with no particular inconveniences, but they don't provide toothbrushes like in Japan, so I'll give it 4 stars.
It's very good value for money, so I'd like to return when I go to Bordeaux again.

Stayed here as a couple. I think the hotel has been recently renovated as the rooms were clean, fresh and well thought out. Buffet breakfast was fine and set us up for the day. Location excellent. For us, had we been staying longer, the room we chose might have been a touch on the small side but perfect for a weekend in a beautiful city. No complaints, very good

My husband hurt his back during our stay in Bordeaux so we had an unexpected 5 day stay at the hotel. They were outstanding in helping me figure out how to look for a dr, providing ice for his ice bag, and generally being sympathetic. The staff is fabulous. The hotel is perfectly located -near the river, Rue St. Catherine, the opera. Walking distance to everything. It seemed like they were in the process of refurbishing, but our room and the common spaces were nice. We would definitely stay again- and thank them for all their help.

As regular visitors to family in Bordeaux we have only recently discovered Hotel Majestic. It is now one of our favourites with an excellent balance of quality value and customer service. Great central location too !
