Villas Foch Boutique Hotel & Spa Bordeaux

Spa services (massage) occurs in your room, not in the pictured "spa" on the website. It is very tight to have table placed in a Prestige room. Massage not worth the money - was basically a "rub down". We had separate rooms, and needed to walk hallway in our robe to shower in another room as the masseuse used this bathroom for hand washing and prep. Clearly it would have been better to refer us to a different location off site.

This hotel was in a great location. The staff were very friendly, especially the manager, Mohammed K., who helped us a lot during our stay. All their rooms were nice and comfortable, but we didn't like that our first room had the toilet on one end and the sink with the shower on the other, plus the sink was very small. We spoke to the staff, and the manager helped us get another room that was much better for us. It had a separate toilet closer to the bathroom, which was an improvement, and a larger sink area. We ordered room service, and the food was great. The AC wasn't strong enough for us, but the staff provided us with powerful fans that made the room nice and cold, just as we wanted! We also hoped that there would be a menu for the breakfast because we didn’t want to eat from the buffet but that was the only option.

Perfect boutique hotel. Everything you could want when looking for that special place in fantastic city. Perfect location and great staff. Our room (101) was spacious and quiet (looked into inner courtyard). Great bar-man who made some great cocktails and taught me a few new ones (B & B). Highly recommend this hotel. Stop looking and book it.

Extraordinarily nice high-end hotel. Top notch service, with warm and friendly service personnel. Rooms very luxurious and nicely appointed - only negatives are small sink in the bathroom and toilet room is separate from bathroom, and does not have its own sink. Breakfast very good. Location is great, close to the old city and many restaurants in Bordeaux. Laundry service is quick and good. Great beds - very comfortable for sleeping.

The room we had although small, could even be described as tiny. Was really romantic. Set up in the roof of the hotel. We had 3 lovely nights. The welcome was 5 star. The service was excellent and the staff recommended some great places to eat. And one, was without doubt the best eating experience we had whilst in France. Bordeaux is truly a beautiful city to visit and wonder around. And Villas Foch was the perfect location for us. If we were to ever return to Bordeaux. We would have no hesitation is staying again. For my wife it was her favourite hotel on our holiday in France and the UK. Classic boutique luxury hotel. The only thing that wasn’t 5 star and did for a time leave a bitter taste in the mouth was we were asked to tip 10% of our stay on check out. Seriously, 1 star experience. Not had that before. Otherwise, these are my other thoughts Staff – faultless, very helpful and if it were not for the tip request would be 5/5 but as a result marked down. 4/5. Room – it was romantic, perfect for our wedding anniversary celebration and very French. 5/5 Shower – the bathroom was small but oh my, the shower was amazing 5/5 Kitchen – non. This is a hotel not an apartment. Bed – the bed sheets were a dream. And the bed and pillows very comfortable 5/5 Cleanliness –5/5 Location – for us for this particular stay, it was perfect 5/5 Facilities – we didn’t try them out – but the pool and sauna did look amazing. Note there are no ironing facilities in the room, but the staff are more than happy to help out. And service was swift TV – there was one.

I was very happy with my stay here. It's sadly rare to find a great hotel at a reasonable price so this was a pleasant surprise! The lady who checked me in was one of the best hotel staff I've ever encountered - fast, friendly, and very helpful. The room was excellent - very spacious, spotless, high ceilings, quiet, and a nice view. My only minor complaint was the breakfast area is a little drab compared to the rest of the property (and breakfast just OK), but overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Villas Foch.

An elegant five star boutique hotel in a convenient location. We had a very pleasant seven nights stay in large, well equiped and decorated, very quiet room overlooking Cours Marechal Foch. What we apreciated very much were the politeness, the efficiency and friendliness of all the staff. Thank you all.

Very inviting hotel and reception. We were made to feel very welcome. Room was great as was the breakfast. Quiet location, but easy to get to any of the main places you might want to go in Bordeaux. The were very accommodating for any request and gave great restaurant recs.
