I’ll start with the positive: this is a great location, most everything is walkable and a tram stop is just down the street for places that are not. Plenty of hot water and comfortable bed. Receptionists are friendly and helpful. And now the less positive: we stayed in a “Superior Studio.” The fisheye-lens photos are deceiving: the room is much smaller, especially the shower and sink area. The room needs renovation, with peeling and chipped paint and floors that look as if they haven’t been refinished this century. The layout also is unusual. The toilet is right off the kitchenette but the sink and shower are on the other side of the room. After using the toilet, one must walk through the kitchenette and room to get to the sink to wash one’s hands. We didn’t need air conditioning in March but it looked like there is none.

Absolutely perfect location and filled with charm. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff could not have been any more helpful. A very comfortable apar**ent will everything that was needed. Loved the courtyard which was peaceful and quiet after a day wandering through the city.

The hotel is in a great location. The staff are amazing, we had a power cut on our second night but they managed to pull out all the stops and provide a wonderful breakfast. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel itself is full of charm and character.

We celebrated my husband’s retirement here. Five days of exploring Bordeaux using the excellent City Pass. A quaint building with many older features retained to keep character. Helpful staff and a lovely breakfast but we were always tempted by the Boulangerie around the corner and Sip for breakfast (superb omelette). We had the large, very clean, romantic Pomerol suite. A large high ceilinged bedroom/screened bath and separate WC. A second room to dress, make up and make coffee. We overlooked the street and it was hard to believe the quiet tram passed regularly outside our 3rd floor window. Centrally located to explore all this vibrant city by tram. Must visit Vin du Cite, Bassins and get the train out to St Emillion. Short walk up to the town through vineyards. Highly recommend.

Lovely gem of a resting spot. It's well located near the center of Bordeaux, yet very quiet and tucked away. A tram stop is just around the corner. The room was very comfortable, well appointed with a kitchenette and the staff were very helpful.

Very nice historical hotel, with many old features in tact and still working. Location was in tge heart of old downtown with many options to choose fro. For dining. Bed was a bit firm

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The St Emilion room is enormous and has so many thoughtful amenities. It sounds trivial but they provided a hair defuser, as someone with curly hair I appreciate that. The bathroom was very spacious and had a makeup table. It was more like a small apar**ent than a hotel room. The staff was awesome. Great location.

Stunning! 1st Class accommodation. We arrived late and had to go early so did not enjoy it to its fullest but it was an amazing stay. Really big TV, design stunning, bed super comfy, shower outstanding, good supply of products. Aircon wonderful, all in all would love to stay again. Highly recommend!
