L’Hôtel Particulier Bordeaux was formerly an old mansion built in the 19th century, the residence of a cardinal. 🌟Decoration highlights The old wooden floor, exquisite carved ceiling, marble fireplace, these details all tell the glory of the past. The modern decoration injects new vitality into these ancient spaces, and a dream about Bordeaux begins. 🌟Location: The hotel is located in the heart of Bordeaux, and you can see the Saint-André Cathedral from the balcony. The tram passes slowly on the street, but thanks to the soundproof windows, the noise is not felt in the room. From the hotel, it only takes a moment to go to the lively Place Gambetta or stroll around the Bordeaux Grand Theater. 💰There are three luxurious double rooms, two suites and four apartments inside, surrounded by a quiet garden courtyard. Book in advance, the price is beautiful, just over a thousand yuan! I was pleasantly surprised at this very charming hotel in Bordeaux. Very centrally located and my single room was great. Small kitchenette , bathroom , single bed etc. the front door has a small private sort of terrace, I saw an ashtray on the table so :) there was a huge lively French window into the quiet courtyard which is set back from the street . I would highly recommend this for your stay in Bourdeaux !

There is no other word to describe this hotel than a fraud. This hotel allowed us to stay in a room with no heat on a night where the temperature was below freezing. They knew the heat wasn't working, lied to us at first, and finally admitted it would be days before it would be fixed. At first we were told it just took time to warm up. Finally, the night clerk admitted the heat was broken. But that was at 10:30 at night when we returned from dinner and had no other option than to stay. The worst thing is that it is now 8 days after we checked out and the general manager has not made contact with us. She should be embarrassed.

Fantastic hidden hotel. Room was massive! Very comfortable, very nice welcome amenities. Location was great for needs - close to transit, close to the main square, close to the cathedral. Front desk was very helpful in helping us navigate to Saint-Emilion by train - very easy to do with streetcar/regional train.

Decided on the central location to the city and cathedral as well as the seemingly French style. It did not disappoint and most things were perfect. Did not try the breakfast so can't comment. Staff were nice and helped when eg milk or tea had run out. With the windows open the calm tooting of the trams and city life was relaxing.

Beautiful Hôtel from the outside and our room matched it with its balcony looking down to the Cathedral, staff were marvellous from reception to cleaning staff. Great location near to some great historical buildings etc. We will be back to this hotel and stunning city.

We had the most amazing few days in Bordeaux and was capped off by the wonderfully amazing hotel just a few minutes walk from everything ! Our room was amazingly comfortable, decor was tasteful and loads of space as it was a small apartment with the complex ! The staff were amazing , the breakfast was such a joy set in a beautiful drawing room on an upper floor ! Overall it was 10/10 and we personally met the owner who made us feel extra special .. Safe , comfortable and perfectly located .. can’t ask for anything else..

Our experience was awful. The hotel is dirty, the staff is rude, the room layout is like an old college dorm from the 1960's. The plans in the courtyard are not real, they are dusty and dirty...just he the chandelier in our room, I'm thinking the chandelier was las cleaned in the year 1994. The bathroom has a toilet in the middle so no privacy, there are no bathroom amenities, so you do need to bring you own shampoo and conditioner, the room has no air conditioning and no telephone. (There is a note that you need to call to place your breakfast order in advance...however no phone). The front desk is staffed by a group of 24 to 27 year olds who are completely clueless and offer no assistance. Hospitality is not their thing. Although our stay was one night, I'd have to stay after 3 weeks traveling across France this was the worst hotel stay we had. My advice is to find another hotel in Bordeaux.

The hotel rooms are contained within an old building originally owned by wine merchants. After parking our car nearby, we presented our ticket and received a 50% discount. The room was at the top of a flight of stairs, equipped with double glazing, a small kitchenette and bathroom with a shower. We really enjoyed the spacious nature of this room and the sense of history within the walls. The mattress was a little uncomfortable and the hotel owners had forgotten to provide knives, forks and a separate cutting knife. In addition, the shower drained away very, very slowly which made the experience quite unpleasant for the second person to take one! Reception were delightful all round. We would consider returning, despite these issues. A lovely, atmospheric stay.
