Boat Station 1
Friendly staff, allowed us to check out until 1 more hour. The room looks comfortable and modern enough for it’s affordable price. It’s just a surprise how our room was actually on the other side of the building and you have to cross the pedestrian to access into the reception and restaurant. Although there were guards on-post ready to assist you cross over 24hrs a day. Also, I don’t like the way you have to log-in to wifi once you went out of the premise and come back, like you’re not automatically connected. Great location tho if you wanna stay at Station 1; the landmark would be at Aplaya/Club Tropicana if from the beach which is good once you go home late from a night out. Wish we had free breakfast too for it’s price but nope 😩😂

Bulabog Beach
Blame me for not doing my homework. Now I am going to Boracay. The whole island is under reconstruction. The road is dug and smelt, the dust is rolling, the smelly water is flowing, and the island is in a good mood because it is half gray. I think this island will take at least 2 years to return to normal! If you want to go there now, please think twice and be mentally prepared! The bed and breakfast is halfway up the mountain, the steep staircase is the only access to the holiday lodge, there is no lift, so if the baggage is not willing to tip, you can only hit it hard. The view to the mountain hut is good, we There was a good time there for a few days. The white sand beach is still beautiful. The decoration facilities of the homestay are also very general. It is also very timely to call the staff several times to handle the toilet. This is a good point. The location is not very good, on the other side of the white sand beach, although it is also by the sea, but the waves are too big for water, only suitable for surfing, if you like surfing, you can consider booking here. Walking to white beach needs 20 Minutes of time. If I ask if I will book it next time, I can hardly say it because I don't know when it will be time to go to Boracay next time.

Alta Vista de Boracay

Alta Vista is our go to place at Boracay! We’ve been to boracay 4x and we always love staying at Alta Vista!!! We tried staying at other hotels in between but Alta Vista outstands the hospitality of all the other hotels we’ve stayed in. The bed was so comfortable that it’s hard to get out! The aircon was so cold that it refreshes us whenever we came back from the beach. The room was always clean and tidy each and every visit! The jacuzzi pool was so relaxing after a long day from the beach! Kindly look for Rochel, Ike, Jhona, Joy as they are the warmiest people who’ll be there to assist you! For our shuttle service Herbert, Ray, Genesis and Acer are always on the go whenever we needed a ride! We thought we love Boracay but our heart goes to Alta Vista! We’re surely to come back soon! Thank you Alta Vista! ❤️

Boat Station 2
We booked a family room for 7 people at this hostel, but when we arrived, we were disappointed to be given a room with 4 bunk beds and a transparent sliding door, which seemed meant for solo travelers. We didn’t say anything at first, but on the 2nd day, we found out that the door wouldn’t lock. When we asked an attendant to help, he was surprised and asked who put us in that room, saying we were supposed to be in a family room without a transparent door. Since we were in a hurry, we told him we would deal with it after our trip. When we got back, we spoke to the attendant who originally checked us in. Instead of apologizing, he said the family rooms were sold out, so he put us in any available room without telling us. When we asked if we could move to a different room, he refused. Luckily, a female attendant stepped in and said she would arrange for us to move to another room, which she would have cleaned right away. We appreciated her help, but to avoid more stress, we decided to stay in the room we were given. However, we feel it’s important to mention the rude behavior from the male attendant, which affected our stay.
Residencia Boracay

I stayed at Residencia because it was recommended by friends. For the price, it seemed like a good deal given that it was located in Station 1 - where more luxurious hotels like Discovery Shores and Lind were located. Upon seeing the room, my first impression was that it seemed dated and a bit dingy - the furniture could definitely use some updating. It also had an odd smell, which would greet you each time you enter but would eventually ”go away” once you spend some more time inside. What really turned me off though was that I saw a rat inside our room. It was bigger than a lab rat, pretty big and healthy - I saw it inside our room as it scurried its way under the room door. I was disgusted and thought that while I was ”lucky” to have seen it myself, who knew where it was going when I was not in the room? I reported this to the hotel staff, hoping they would do something about it but all they did was give 2 towels to block the bottom of the door. I wasn't pleased with neither the situation nor the solution and ended up checking out 3 days earlier than planned and moving to a better hotel.
