This was a most enjoyable and memorable stay. Valle Escondido is located very close to the center of Boquete but off the beaten path just enough to feel remote and private - a gated and intimate paradise nestled in a beautiful mountain setting. Our room was a very cozy and well-appointed bungalow set on one of the little rivers that meander through the property, creating a tranquil, flowing water sound throughout the day and night - I could have lingered on our patio by the water the whole stay, but there was much more to do! All of the staff were incredibly polite and helpful, but most notably the food at the restaurant was phenomenal, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They put on a very unexpected and elegant Thanksgiving dinner, which made us feel so good far away from family back home. And each item in the buffet setting was absolutely delicious. I can’t say enough about how fortunate we felt to have stayed here and hope to return when feasible.

We had an amazing stay. From the moment we arrived, the service was top notch. We were greeted with hot towels and fresh juice. Our bungalow was very clean and comfortable with a relaxing outside porch. Spa services were super relaxing. The restaurant had great food, fresh options. All the staff was super attentive and friendly. Heidi helped me plan our trip before we even arrived and was there to help into the very end of our stay. We felt like we had personalized service. I highly recommend this resort. Ask for Heidi, she will make your stay and entire vacation in Panama effortless.

Too expensive for what it is. Hotel Valle del Rio is much better. Very low water pressure, a/c and Tv very cheap. Included breakfast the same menu every day. Choice of dining inn too expensive with weird menus. No room service. No ramp for handicap. No bellhop in the morning for checking out. The place is beautiful but all hotels in Boquete are.

Beautiful scenery and river flowing through the resort, high quality infrastructure, very attentive staff, good quality food. Overall a great experience. Would definitely visit it again. Staff is committed to making sure you have a good stay at their resort.

We had one of our best vacation. It was like being in paradise… starting with the warm reception, beautiful and peaceful environment, comfortable riverside bungalow, excellent restaurant and the most important, the wonderful service everywhere. It was an amazing experience!

We stayed at Valle Escondido for four nights during our visit to Boquete. The hotel is located on the grounds of a golf resort community within walking distance (10 minutes) of the center of Boquete. The hotel offers a paid shuttle service to David Airport which we used. The shuttle was a modern van/minibus which we shared with a group of other guests. The road from David to Boquete is very good and the drive is not long. The setting of Valle Escondido is lovely, in a narrow valley surrounded by lush hills. The grounds are beautiful and well-manicured. There are many beautiful plants and flowers and it is a haven for birds. Our room was in the main building of the hotel. It was furnished simply but was large and had a lovely terrace opening onto a garden with a river running through it. The patio had a hammock and two chairs and a table. Meals are served in another nearby building on the property. The restaurant building has two large side porches with flowers and the dining room itself has large windows on three sides-opening up to the beautiful surroundings. The menu is varied, very reasonably priced, and offers dishes that are fresh, healthy, and delicious. Many of the vegetables and herbs come from the resort’s own gardens. Next to the restaurant building is the bar, which offers snacks and excellent cocktails. The resort also has a large spa and a beautiful indoor swimming pool with a glass roof. We also used the hotel’s laundry service which was very efficient and inexpensive. Valle Escondido is an excellent choice for a stay in Boquete!

When you arrive at this resort, there is a sign saying “Welcome to Paradise”. This is how Haydee and her team made us feel since the moment they picked us up at David’s airport. My family and I had a truly wonderful time at Valle Escondido. We highly recommend it. Make no mistake about it!
