Great place with a great outlook, friendly staff, lots of breakfast variety. An every year visit for us, looking forward to next April when we will return. Recently added home made pizzas that went down very well with our party.

My family of 7 just finished a European vacation in which we stayed in 5 hotels. The Rheinhotel Lilie was by far our favorite. The staff is exceptional, the views are spectacular, the breakfast is delicious, and the location is top notch. I'll be back! Highly recommend.

A well positioned hotel to explore Boppard, the front of the hotel looks over the Rhine. Our room was in the upper level with a town view which was not bad, the room itself looked as if it had recently had a refurb and was clean and tidy. On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful giving advice on parking there is free parking just a ten minute walk along the river. There was a good selection at breakfast.

The hotel room we had was spotless and spacious enough. We didn't have a room with a view of the Rhine, but we weren't there for the view anyway. Beds were certainly good enough (for us) and a safe and house bar were also available. The bathroom was also quite spacious, but of course the shower cabin was, as in many hotels, tiny. A little more space could be created for this. Breakfast was more than sufficient, but as the title suggests, dinner was less good than expected. Maybe the pizzas are good, but I don't eat them in a German hotel restaurant. The "meat menu" is a bit mediocre in terms of choice. But anyway, that's my opinion. In any case, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Will we ever come back here? Think so. Troubled by the church bells? We do not.

The owner shouted at us for no reason, insulted us loudly and threw us out of the hotel late in the evening. We will never return to this hotel. After the toilet in the room was blocked, we were initially accused of being responsible for it ourselves. Although the room smelled unbearably bad, the owner suggested that we stay the night anyway - the shower could not be used and the restaurant toilet in the basement (four floors below) should serve as an alternative toilet. When we dared to describe this suggestion objectively as "unacceptable", the owner became verbally abusive, insulted us several times and ordered us (late in the evening at 10.15 p.m.!) to leave his hotel immediately. He made it clear to us that he was fully booked and did not need our money. We informed the Boppard tourist information office about the matter by phone and in writing. We were more than appalled by the rude, completely unacceptable behavior of the owner - this is definitely not the way to treat guests.

Op onze terugreis vanuit Italië zijn we gestopt in Boppard. Rheinhotel Lilie viel ons op door de positieve reviews. En terecht. Een prima hotel met vriendelijk personeel, op een goede locatie. Prijs-kwaliteit/locatie is perfect. Aan te bevelen. PS Dame aan receptie/bediening was zo vriendelijk en relaxt....Zo zou het overal moeten zijn...THX
